The 'lover boy' in Fred Moser jumped out in the December 26 episode of "Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0" As Gen Zs would say, this guy is down bad.
As a new day rolled in for the housemates' ongoing 9th weekly task—where they had to bike a set distance to earn gifts from their loved ones—Fred and Princess' performance was seemingly slower than expected. Inside the confession room, Fred told Big Brother he felt like Princess was being cold, prompting him to talk to her afterward.
He asked Princess how she really feels about him, and she said nothing had changed. But, for Fred, something felt off, as if they weren’t as connected anymore. Princess assured him that her feelings were still the same, but she also wanted to widen her circle inside the house and not spend all her time with just one person.
"Kung sabihin kong friends lang muna, would you stop overthinking?" she asked, to which he replied, "I don't know. But I guess that'll help." Fred said he’d respect her decision and will use the time to get to know the others too.
Meanwhile, Fred looked noticeably uneasy during his solo photoshoot with task leaders Caprice Cayetano and Joaquin Arce. And when he reviewed the final polaroid shot, he couldn’t believe his eyes when he saw his dad, Stefan, in the background. Fred broke down in tears while hugging his dad, who had brought him a pair of basketball shoes as a holiday gift.
Since his dad is one of the people he trusts most, Fred opened up about his 'love' dilemma. "There's this girl here and I really like her. But she told me yesterday that she just likes me as a friend now. I really like her. But now I don't know what to do,” he told his dad, who advised him to give this 'girl' some space.
Daddy Stefan said, "When you are locked in the PBB house and when you're all together, it's different than when you are in the outside world. Whatever happens here doesn't need to be transposed in the outside world, and vice versa." He also encouraged Fred to try mingling with the other housemates and enjoy the experience.
Fred tearfully took his dad’s advice to heart and realized that some things shouldn’t be rushed. As they said goodbye, he thanked his dad, as well as is mom, for always supporting him and for having enough faith in him to push him toward trying out for "PBB."
Voting for the second duo to receive the ‘Gift of Immunity’ and be saved from the next nomination will end tomorrow, Saturday, December 28, at 12 midnight.
