As the action, drama, and confrontations continue to amplify in recent episodes of “FPJ’s Batang Quiapo,” its cast members temporarily went on ceasefire and spread holiday cheer to all as they graced the ABS-CBN Christmas Special 2025 themed “Love, Joy, Hope: Sabay Tayo Ngayong Pasko” that aired on December 13.
Far from the usual chaotic, intense, and hostile vibe that the series usually exudes, the stellar ensemble appeared merry and bright as they emerged onstage by group, by pair, or solo in their fashionable streetwear while singing and dancing to a couple of hit songs by legendary OPM bands Rivermaya, Eraserheads, and Parokya ni Edgar.
Their super fun and highly energetic set was ushered in by none other than their lead star-cum-director Coco Martin, who had a kilig duet with his reel-to-real-life sweetheart Julia Montes. Together, they sang “Grow Old With You” and “Kasama Kang Tumanda.”
The Primetime King and the Prime Actress then went on to introduce the “FPJ’s Batang Quiapo” segment, which commenced with the first batch of supporting cast members—including veteran character actors Joel Lamangan, Tommy Abuel, Ronnie Lazaro, Pen Medina, Susan Africa, Alan Paule, and Juan Rodrigo—singing “Kisapmata”.
The group of Ronwaldo Martin, Gillian Vicencio, John Medina, Criza Taa, Nicole Luna, Geline Garcia, Ghercie Soriano, and Happy Marcial then rocked the stage with “Awit ng Kabataan,” which was followed by the invigorating “Elesi” performance of John Estrada, Cherry Pie Picache, and Christopher de Leon. This truly amused the spectators as their onscreen complicated love triangle as Rigor, Marites, and Ramon on the primetime series has indeed made viewers hooked.
Despite his age, screen legend Dante Rivero proved that he could still keep up with his relatively younger castmates Jake Cuenca, Angel Aquino, Paolo Paraiso, and Franki Russell as he sang “Ligaya” with them. Of course, it was not only the Guerreros who made a special appearance onstage but also the Mondragons—comprised of Baron Geisler, Rosanna Roces, Roi Vinzon, Jay Gonzaga, and Maynard Lapid—as they performed “Toyang.”
With his recent song covers going viral online, Aljur Abrenica hyped up the crowd as soon as he appeared onstage singing “Magasin.” He was subsequently joined by Perla Bautista, Aleck Bovick and Via Antonio.
Of course, Tropang Tanggol was also there, with Ryan Martin, Jojit Lorenzo, Mammoth Estroso, Big Mak Andaya, and Baby Giant Baña singing and bopping to “Maniwala Ka Sana.” The Batang Tondo Gang, which is comprised of rappers Bassilyo, Smugglaz, Kial, Mastafeat, Flict G, Jojo, and Sisa, impressed viewers with their rapping skills as they performed “Bagsakan.”
Coco then returned to the stage, absolutely getting everyone entertained with his rendition of “Mr. Suave” which he complemented with his snazzy dance moves. He was joined afterwards by Maris Racal, who is playing the role of Patrolwoman Ponggay Garcia.
The “FPJ’s Batang Quiapo” production number ended with the entire ensemble singing the “Hoy, hoy, hoy, hoy, hoy, hoy” part of the last song in unison.
But even before they took the stage for their much-awaited ABS-CBN Christmas Special 2025 stint, the “FPJ’s Batang Quiapo” family was already pumped up, as seen in the photos captured during their rehearsals that were included in this gallery.
