While the "PBB Collab 2.0" housemates were still figuring out how to build their tower for the second weekly task, it seemed like something else was already starting to take shape inside the house—the feelings between Eliza Borromeo and Miguel Vergara.
At one point, Eliza opened up to her fellow Star Magic housemate Krystal Mejes about how she and Miguel first got close during a previous project. She shared that back then, Miguel had been clear about wanting to stay “good friends” but after that, they somehow drifted apart, until “PBB” brought them together again. Still, with the way Miguel used to act around her—like teasingly asking about her favorite flowers— Eliza couldn’t help but feel a little “delulu” (Gen Z talk for delusional). Krytsal reacted, “Hindi ka naman aasa kung hindi ka pinaasa."
And when words were too hard to say, the housemates came up with a game where they could say anything to an unnamed person. Eliza dropped, “Hindi mo man lang ba susubukan?” Miguel, catching the hint, replied, “Dapat nga, kaso may na-realize ako," which made the rest of the housemates tease them even more.
After their subtle exchange about feelings earlier that day, Miguel eventually found the right moment to talk to Eliza in private. “Alam mo, Eliza,” he began, “I don’t think this is the right place to say, or… you have to think about it also.”
Eliza mentioned that their conversations often felt unclear, something Miguel also acknowledged as he said he was still trying to figure things out. “I don’t know what to say,” he admitted. Eliza then confessed that she would often feel nervous and lose her words whenever they talked, not used to opening up her feelings, but this time, she pushed herself to speak up because she knew she had to.
