Krystal Brimner (YFSF Kids Season 2, 2018) – “Wrecking Ball”
She came in like a wrecking ball! Krystal Brimmer’s vocals and emotional delivery of “Wrecking Ball” gave us a classic yet fresh punch to the song. Her performance was raw and heartfelt, as if she had already gone through that wrecking phase of her life.
Who would have thought this was Krystal’s first “YFSF” performance? As a theater kid, even if the song was mature for her age, she was able to give us a great interpretation.
Krystal Brimner placed fifth in the competition.
Sheena Belarmino (YFSF Kids Season 2, 2018) – “Don’t Dream It’s Over” with AC Bonifacio
In the same edition, another Miley Cyrus impersonator embodied the pop star perfectly. In a duet special episode, contestants were tasked to perform with “YFSF Kids” Season 1 alumni. Among the standout performances was Miley Cyrus and Ariana Grande’s “Don’t Dream It’s Over.”
AC Bonifacio impersonated Ariana Grande while Sheena Belarmino took on Miley Cyrus. Alongside AC, Sheena delivered a beautiful rendition that highlighted her vocal control—even judge Sharon Cuneta was amazed at how well she captured Miley’s low notes. Her performance was soft, cozy, and sincere, and together they captured the essence of friendship through song.
Sheena Belarmino was among the season’s finalists and placed fourth.
Vivoree (YFSF Season 3, 2021) – “Party in the USA”
Vivoree brought the party to the “YFSF” stage with her rockstar take on Miley’s feel-good anthem, “Party in the USA.” With her confidence and playful energy, she turned the performance into a mini-concert.
Feeling satisfied with her performance, Vivoree shared that she intended to embody Miley and step away from her usual persona. Her energy and portrayal earned praise from judges, including Gary Valencuano.
Vivoree placed third in her season.
Melai Cantiveros – “Wrecking Ball” (YFSF Season 1, 2015)

This “Wrecking Ball” performance earned Melai Cantiveros the title of grand champion in “YFSF” Season 1. Her version was a mix of comedy and commitment—classic Melai. She leaned into the humorous side of the performance but also channeled her inner Miley Cyrus perfectly, especially when she didn’t hesitate to do the giant wrecking ball stunt.
Melai was the country’s first-ever winner of “Your Face Sounds Familiar” and later joined Billy Crawford as co-host for the second season.
