If there’s one person in the "Pinoy Big Brother" universe who truly radiates a sisterly warmth and wisdom, it would be Bianca Gonzalez (don’t worry, Kuya, she’s not stealing your job!).

Everyone sees Bianca as that calm and comforting “Ate” who somehow always knows what to say, whether it’s to cheer you up after a bad day or drop some truth bombs right when you need it most. That’s why the housemates (and even us viewers!) love calling her Ate B.

So in this challenge, Kapamilya Chat tapped into Bianca’s Ate instincts—what if she were giving pieces of advice to the "PBB Collab 2.0" Gen Z housemates facing some tricky situations? What would Ate B tell them?

First up, when asked how she’d comfort a housemate who’s missing their family, Ate B said homesickness is one of the toughest battles inside the house, and she would know because she was once a housemate herself during the very first "PBB Celebrity Edition" back in 2006.

Drawing from her own experience, she shared, “Try to focus on the present kasi once-in-a-lifetime experience ang pagiging housemate. Ilang linggo o ilang buwan lang naman ito, pero babalik-balikan mo talaga ang mga moments na ‘to.” She added that while it’s tough being away from loved ones, every lesson or friendship a housemate gains inside the house makes it all worth it.

As for a hungry situation, sometimes the best thing to do is just laugh it off and share the struggle. When asked what she’d tell a disappointed housemate after losing the weekly task, Bianca chuckled, “At least hindi ikaw nag-iisa. Lahat kayo gutom, so magdamayan kayong lahat.”

For context, losing the weekly task in "PBB" means the housemates don’t get their food budget—but before anyone imagines them starving, Bianca clarified that Kuya still provides rations of bread, eggs, vegetables, and rice, win or lose. “Hindi naman sila ginugutom ni Kuya,” she explained. “Wala lang talagang extra budget pambili ng chicken o ng more things.” She also pointed out that with so many food sponsors this season, the housemates will never really go hungry. Sure, it’s not exactly home-cooked goodness, but at least there’s always something to munch on while surviving the week.

After hosting countless "PBB" seasons, Bianca has pretty much seen every kind of drama unfold inside the house. That’s why if two housemates end up having 'tampuhan' moments, she'd only tell them, "That's normal. Ikaw ba naman isama sa napakaraming tao na iba't iba ang personalidad sa iisang bahay na hindi ka makakaalis."

But while misunderstandings are part of the game, Ate B believes it must be handled with emotional awareness. “Damhin mo muna ‘yung nararamdaman mo, and then eventually, ‘pag ready na kayo mag-usap to clear things, mas mabuti ‘yon,” she advised.

In recent episodes, some housemates got a taste of Big Brother’s punishment for breaking rules. So what does our ever-wise and savage Ate B have to say about it? “Enjoy, at enjoyin mo rin ‘yung parusa!” she laughed. Kidding aside, she imparted, "As much as you can, huwag naman 'yong mga major violations so it won't get you into trouble."

Of course, Ate B also had a reminder for the bashers. Bianca is no stranger to the criticisms that both the housemates and the show receive online. But as much as possible, the entire team always reminds viewers to be careful with their words because the housemates are human too—they have feelings and families. After all, what kind of family would be happy to read below-the-belt comments about their loved one?

"Even if may nagawa 'yung housemate sa loob na hindi nila gusto, hindi naman din kailangan na yurakan ang pagkatao ng housemate dahil lang sa isang bagay na hindi nila nagustuhan, o dahil lang sa isang pagkakamali," she pressed. After all, Kuya’s house is a place for growth, improvement, and learning from one’s mistakes.
