The “Fighting Sweethearts” team led by Krystal Mejes began building their diorama for their second weekly task, and they thought of incorporating symbols that best represent their family.
For Marco Masa, it would be the moon because amidst the darkness that sometimes surrounds their family, they are still his beacon of light. Iñigo Jose, meanwhile, chose rain and went on to share that his parents’ separation and the absence of his father compelled him to learn to stand up on his own and be a role model to his younger sibling at a very young age.
Drawing inspiration from her real name, which her mom got from the ABS-CBN teleserye “Krystala” starring Judy Ann Santos, Krystal opted for star to become her symbol. She explained that it’s because she wants to be their shining star that brings light to them no matter the darkness that comes into their lives or within themselves. Meanwhile, John Clifford chose the sun as he believes that their family is as bright as it is whatever the time of the day.
