During the scheduled custody hearing, Leah (Shaina Magdayao) brings her first witness to the stand, PO2 Johnny Policarpio (RK Bagatsing). She begins to interrogate him and asks him to be objective with his answers, to which the police officer agrees. He starts building his statements by recounting his experiences as the assigned security detail for Samuel (Gerald Anderson).
He begins by sharing details about King’s (Clave Sun) kidnapping. He states that even before the incident occurred, Samuel and his family were attacked by the scam victims of his father, Mike Trinidad (John Arcilla), and were ambushed both at his former office in Golden Trust Bank and at their home. This leads Leah (Shaina Magdayao) to question the child’s safety under Samuel’s care, to which Johnny reiterates that the child is indeed not safe with Samuel.
He supports his statement by explaining that Samuel has already been involved in numerous troubling situations, even during his time as their assigned security detail. Leah then asks if the police officer noticed anything out of the ordinary. Johnny responds affirmatively, citing an incident where Samuel was beaten up and hospitalized for unknown reasons. This led him to believe that Samuel might be involved with a syndicate group.
