Following their riveting “Reverse Class Picture Challenge,” in which the five leaders for the first-ever formation of “cuadros,” or groups of four people, were determined with the help of Esnyr Ranollo, Kapamilya 3rd Big Placer of the inaugural “Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab Edition,” the housemates of “PBB Collab 2.0” have finally formed their initial groups for this season.

Since it was him who was first hailed as a leader, Anton Vinzon was the first one to choose his groupmates. He initially picked Joaquin Arce, whom he finds competitive like him and possesses the heart and mindset of a leader, then fellow Kapuso artist Sofia Pablo because he wants to help her in her pursuit of further learning inside Bahay ni Kuya. Then he chose Lella Ford to complete their team, as he perceives that she’s capable of helping their group in the forthcoming tasks.

Krystal Mejes was the next leader to create her cuadro, who seemed to prefer having male teammates. Her first pick was fellow Kapamilya talent Iñigo Jose, citing his being analytical, smart, physically and mentally strong, and passionate as her considerations for choosing him. She then opted for Sparkle artists Marco Masa and John Clifford, saying that she admires Marco’s astuteness and heart, as well as Clifford’s beautiful and thought-provoking ideas.

The third leader to make the tough decision was Carmelle Collado, who surprised Kapuso young heartthrob Heath Jornales when she mentioned his name. According to her, what made her choose Heath is his being smart and a good listener, assuming that his ideas may contribute to their group. She then picked fellow Star Magic talent Rave Victoria for his admirable determination and remarkable contribution during their previous tasks. Completing their team is promising Sparkle actress Caprice Cayetano, whose her leadership skills not just in their first weekly task but also in the daily chores truly impressed her.

Star Magic talent Reich Lim was the last one to pick the members of her cuadro, with Kapuso artist Waynona Collings being her initial choice since they are both driven and competitive. Her fellow Kapamilya Fred Moser was her second choice, as he finds him one of the strongest in the house, not to mention that he can be both funny and serious, which seemed to be important to her. Last was Sparkle singer Princess Aliyah because of how strong and highly determined she is.

Since it was only Ashley Sarmiento, Lee Victor, and Eliza Borromeo who were left, all three of them automatically became part of Miguel Vergara’s team. Even though nobody from the previous leaders who stood at the platform had chosen them, the three of them were actually glad to have Miguel as their leader. Miguel, on his part, firmly believes that their team has the intellectuality and drive to win the upcoming group tasks.

As soon as the creation of five cuadros was done, Big Brother informed the housemates that the members of the group in which they currently belong are going to be the same people they will collaborate with in the upcoming tasks and challenges. These include the “Ligtask Challenge” by the end of the week that will determine which group is going to be spared from the first nomination of this season.

While the members of the winning team are going to be saved, the rest will have to face the nominations. The cuadro whose members will garner the highest number of accumulated votes from the housemates is going to be the one up for eviction. And from that group, the two housemates—one Kapamilya and one Kapuso—who will receive the least number of votes from the public are going to be evicted.

The November 3 episode concluded with the five groups enthusiastically introducing their respective cuadro to Big Brother. Anton’s team call themselves “AntoQuinSElla,” Krystal’s group is “Fighting Sweethearts,” Carmelle’s team is “Caramel Ma-Cutesy," Reich’s group is “Rays of Sunshine,” while Miguel’s team is “Adorable Task Smashers.”
