Apart from the continuously growing friendship between Ashley Sarmiento and Rave Victoria, the issue regarding some of the housemates’ habitual use of “codenames” in talking about other housemates was also featured in the November 30 episode of “PBB Collab 2.0.” While it could be nonsense in the outside world, but not inside Bahay ni Kuya since it’s considered a grave violation of the house rules.

It seemed to be initiated by Kapamilya housemate Iñigo Jose, who called himself “Raphael” whenever he shared a secret with the other housemates that he concealed through the fairytale that he had told them. He tagged Sofia Pablo as the “First Princess,” whom he initially became close with, then assigned the “Second Princess” title to Lella Ford, with whom he subsequently got interested.

Sorry po, Kuya, dahil gano’n po ako magsalita and on codes. Nagiging maingat ako but, at the same time, gusto ko ring ma-convey ‘yong message sa other persons,” Iñigo told Big Brother inside the confession room.

And it was not only Iñigo who used codenames in their exchanges, but Lella, Sofia, and Joaquin Arce, too, as they discussed their situation. Joaquin confessed how some of the male housemates would talk about Iñigo’s feelings for Sofia and Lella underneath their blankets before they go to sleep. Although it’s unlikely for a guy like Joaquin to tell others what he and his guy friends had discussed, Joaquin couldn’t help but relay them to Sofia and Lella since he’s friends with them as well.

Joaquin confessed to Kuya how Iñigo seemed to have liked Sofia but got turned off since he finds her physically frail due to her not being physically active. This made him decide to divert his attention to Lella, whom he assumed had feelings for him. Apparently, it was not only the four of them who are aware of this “fairytale” since Iñigo had also imparted this to other housemates like Ashley, Rave, and Miguel Vergara.

After being summoned by Kuya to the confession room to confront him about talking under the sheets and in codes, as well as to remind him that it’s a grave violation of his house rules, Iñigo spoke to Joaquin regarding it. He then went on to approach Lella to personally apologize to her for talking behind her back and sending her the wrong message, which, according to him, was his way of supposedly getting to know her.

In return, Lella told him, “I just don’t appreciate you telling off things you’re not even sure. May nakarating naman sa akin na kaya mo lang ako kinakausap is because you feel like there’s a wall and you feel like that I like you. Believe it or not—no feelings involved—I’m open to [getting] to know you more, but it’s not like gusto kita.”

Moving forward, Iñigo promised Lella to show her and the other housemates the better version of him. Lella, meanwhile, told him that it’s just normal to commit mistakes and that she appreciated it that he owned up to his faults.

Sofia, on the other hand, also had a tête-à-tête with both Joaquin and Rave, wherein she insisted that she only sees Iñigo as a friend—nothing more, nothing less. She then wasn’t able to stop herself from getting emotional during her conversation with Rave as she mentioned her special someone waiting for her in the outside world—none other than her loveteam partner, Kapuso actor Allen Ansay.

She also clarified to Rave that they used codenames not to hide it from Kuya, but to keep it a secret from the other housemates so that the issue wouldn’t grow bigger anymore. Besides, she couldn’t help but get worried about what Allen would feel or think once he learns that she is being linked with another housemate in a romantic way.

Iñigo had another chat with Joaquin about the issue of them talking in codes, wherein the latter also expressed his apologies to him for the stuff that he had said and everything he had done that might have offended him.

He then had the chance to speak with Sofia, who conveyed how disappointed and shocked she was about the things that he had said about her. Iñigo seemed to try defending himself by explaining that he was just relating his personal standards when it comes to the woman he would like. Thus, he couldn’t comprehend why they were making a mountain out of a molehill.

They were approached afterwards by Joaquin, with Sofia and Lella discussing the issue and the former’s conversation with Iñigo. On the other hand, Iñigo vented out to Miguel about how he felt towards what had transpired, especially to Joaquin whom he considered his friend.
