As their second week inside the house began, the housemates of “Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0” were seen in the November 2 episode being awakened by Kuya using an alarm that sounded like a school bell—much to their confusion.

Some of the housemates were able to figure out what that sound was and what it could mean, with Ashley Sarmiento uttering during her conversation with Kuya that it might be a “subtle foreshadowing” of what they’re about to do. And their guess that it had something to do with going back to school was later confirmed, as Kuya summoned Miguel Vergara and John Clifford to the confession room to ask them about their fondest memories as schoolboys and to tell them that they would experience being students again that day.

As soon as they returned in the living room, Miguel and Clifford relayed to the housemates that they had to switch to school uniforms prepared for them in the storage room. This absolutely thrilled everyone, with the housemates really feeling it and Sparkle actors Marco Masa and Anton Vinzon even coming up with a spontaneous skit about two campus rivals. What was supposed to be a light-hearted acting showdown got interrupted when Lee Victor chimed in and uttered a derogatory remark, which instantly pissed off Anton.

Lee seemed to have also annoyed Carmelle Collado, who was caught on camera rolling her eyes as she walked off the scene. Marco and Clifford, who were among those who witnessed what happened, agreed that what Lee said was foul and below the belt. Anton went on to relate the incident to his fellow Sparkle artist Sofia Pablo after their breakfast, which appalled her and prompted her to remind Anton that it’s okay to express how he feels. But Anton felt that it was not the proper time yet to confront Lee about it, to which Sofia agreed and said that he could do it once he’s already calm.

Aside from waking up to a different wake-up call, the housemates were shocked to see something strange at the swimming pool area—four round platforms with four connected blue and red arms logos on top of each. Some of them were able to easily figure out that instead of Kapuso and Kapamilya housemates being paired with one another as “duos”—just like in the previous edition, they will be divided into groups with two Sparkle and two Star Magic artists in each.

And the housemates’ suspicions were confirmed by Kuya afterwards, as he announced to them that they needed to form five groups composed of four members—two from Kapamilya and two from Kapuso. The groups they are about to form will be their companions in every challenge and even in nomination, which means that whatever the fate or action of one will also affect his/her teammates. By the end of this edition, one Kapamilya and one Kapuso housemate are going to share the Big Winner title.

After the announcement, the housemates couldn’t help but be perturbed as they either huddled in different groups or spoke with another housemate as they reflected on their fate.

In order to determine who will become groupmates in the first-ever group formation, Kuya tapped the help of a former housemate, “PBB Collab’s” Kapamilya 3rd Big Placer Esnyr Ranollo. Big Brother’s reunion with Esnyr indeed amused viewers as he poked fun at him again, but this time with regard to his palpable glow-up, or upgrade to “version 2.0,” as well as with the latter’s hilarious utterances.

Kuya then related to Esnyr the real reason why he invited him to go back to his house, which was to ask for his help in finding a competent principal for his school. And, of course, Esnyr recommended none other than Ma’am Castro, one of his many alter egos in his popular and well-loved multiverse, who also made an appearance in one of their tasks during their edition.

He immediately switched to Ma’am Castro, with Kuya teasing him that she reminded him of “BINI-liktad,” yet the “teacher” insisted that it’s BINI Aiah who is really her look-alike. Kuya seemed not to completely agree with her, so he added “noong Kabataan,” which Ma’am Castro echoed. The seasoned teacher went on to boast about her credentials that made her qualified to become the principal of Kuya’s school, which he found impressive, so he hired her on the spot.

The housemates were indeed surprised and pumped up to see Esnyr walk across the house, introducing himself as Ma’am Castro. Just like what’s usually done during the first day of school, he asked them to introduce themselves one by one by stating their name, age, moniker, and motto in life.

Esnyr then requested them to give him a tour of their bedrooms, to which the housemates obliged. He may have joked and laughed with them, but Esnyr was completely appalled to see how messy and disorganized both the boys’ and girls’ rooms were, as if they had been ravaged by a typhoon. Thus, as soon as the tour was over, he gathered them in the living room again and told them his observations.

He reminded them that it’s a must for them to always observe cleanliness in order for their stay there to be comfortable. Joaquin Arce promised that they are going to immediately organize their stuff once their respective luggage are returned to them, while Lee vowed that they are to wash their dirty clothes.

Once they were all gathered at the garden, Kuya announced that they would be doing the first-ever group formation with the help of their principal, Ma’am Castro. They carried it out via a task called “Reverse Class Picture,” in which they shouldn’t be seen in any of the pictures that Ma’am Castro had taken while she was blindfolded, or else they would be removed from the game.

The game had five rounds, with the remaining housemate in each round being hailed as the leader of the five groups. As Esnyr stood at the center of the garden while taking photos, the housemates moved around him, trying their best to evade the shot. By the end of the first round, Anton’s competitiveness prevailed after he was declared the first leader.

In the second round, Krystal Mejes was named the leader, who seemed to a little bit regret doing her best during the game since she told Kuya during their conversation that she would rather be chosen than be the one to choose, as well as that she’s also not really keen to lead. Meanwhile, it was Carmelle, Reich Lim, and Miguel who were named the next leaders after winning the remaining three rounds.

Who among their housemates will Anton, Krystal, Carmelle, Reich, and Miguel choose to be part of their respective groups? Let us all find out by not missing an episode of “PBB Collab 2.0,” which can be watched online via livestreams on the PBB YouTube Channel, Kapamilya Online Live (KOL), and iWant.
