Right on the very moment that he stepped out of the iconator, Akira Morishita of BGYO immediately left everyone lovestruck with his transformation to veteran Welsh singer Tom Jones, more so when he started singing his classic hit “Sexbomb” and doing some “tito moves.”
As if what he just did was not difficult enough, the Ace Idol was asked by hosts Jhong Hilario and Vhong Navarro to take on the “Sexbomb Challenge,” in which he had to render a slow and sexy version of the song using his original voice.
Of course, Akira made sure that it was not only him who did it, as he requested his fellow celebrity performer JM Dela Cerna, who was still in his Elphaba costume then, to be his dancer. The latter accepted it and amused us with his cheeky dance moves. The hosts subsequently switched their roles, with JM being the one to sing and Akira as the sexy dancer.
Jury member Ogie Alcasid was also game in taking on the challenge as the dancer, but instead of “Sexbomb,” he grooved to BGYO’s current viral hit “All These Ladies”—which made everyone burst into laughter.
