Love is definitely in the air this Christmas as real-life couples and Kapamilya loveteams lit up the holiday season with their dazzling presence at the Star Magical Christmas 2025, held on November 23 at Okada Manila.
From real-life couples to phenomenal love teams, the red carpet became a celebration of love, friendship, and star power with their matching outfits that shimmered like Christmas lights, heartfelt gestures radiating the warmth of the season, and kilig moments that swoon the audiences.
The holiday glow was made even warmer by Kapamilya pairs who shared their love on the holiday runway. Former “PBB” housemates Argel Saycon and Jas Scales, often referred to as ArJas by fans, did not miss the chance to grace the red carpet. Also shining in their sparkling ensembles were JV Kapunan and partner Shane Macela, perfectly matching each other in glittery outfits.
“PBB Gen 11” real-life couple Dingdong Bahan and Patrick Ramirez, known together as DongPat, also graced the holiday runway, looking sleek in their black and red outfits. The two currently star in “What Lies Beneath”---with Dingdong as Tim and Patrick as Tom---marking their first teleserye.
Considered as one of Star Magic’s OG artists, Nikki Valdez, who is currently part of the series “Roja,” arrived with her husband Luis Garcia, matching in green outfits. Nikki was previously honored with the Loyalty Award in 2022 for her 25 years with Star Magic. Another Star Magic OG and “Idol Kids PH” host Jolina Magdangal walked the carpet with her husband, musician Mark Escueta.
“Your Face Sounds Familiar" mentor Nyoy Volante came with his wife, Mikkie Bradshaw, channeling their inner theater actors through their looks. Nyoy exuded the vibe of a theater showman, while Mikkie looked like she had stepped straight out of a storybook Christmas village. On Instagram, Mikkie shared that she personally crafted their outfits.
One of the most talked-about looks of the night was Power Diva Angeline Quinto, who stunned in a blue metallic jumpsuit---a nod to her iconic role as Princess Antoinette in the Star Cinema classic “Four Sisters and A Wedding.” She was accompanied by her husband Nonrev Daquina, who looked dashing in a brown suit.
Real-life partners RK Bagatsing and Jane Oineza, known as RKane, stood out with the details of their outfits. Jane sported a chic blonde-brown hairstyle, while RK, who had just wrapped up his role in “Sins of the Father,” looked stylish in his black shiny tuxedo.
Another Star Magic Loyalty Awardee was Zanjoe Marudo, who lit up the festive celebration with his wife, Ria Atayde. Zanjoe received his Loyalty Award for his 20 years with Star Magic, starring in several unforgettable roles in movies and TV series. He is set to make his MMFF comeback with Angelica Panganiban in the movie “UnMarry.”
Long-time couple Joem Bascon and Meryll Soriano matched in black and white outfits that reflected their personalities. Joem, one of the most versatile actors of his generation, was also recognized as a Star Magic Loyalty Awardee for 20 years, marking a milestone in his career.
Power couple Pambansang Host Luis Manzano and Jessy Mendiola, fresh from her comeback stint in “Sins of the Father,” arrived at the ball looking festive in red. In their red carpet interview, they shared that they plan to spend Christmas at home with their family. Jessy was also named one of Metro’s Best Dressed artists of the night.
The newly engaged LoiNie, Loisa Andalio and Ronnie Alonte, made their first public appearance as fiancés at the Star Magic Christmas Ball 2025 red carpet. Both wore matching sporty suits that reflected their personalities, with Loisa proudly showing off her engagement ring. After nine years together, the couple is finally set to tie the knot.
The spotlight then turned to our favorite loveteams. Francine Diaz and Seth Fedelin, FranSeth---who had just wrapped up their hit series “Sins of the Father”---looked picture-perfect in their matching royal blue gown and suit. They definitely spread the kilig as they walked hand in hand on the red carpet. The two are currently gearing up for their MMFF movie “Shake, Rattle, and Roll: Evil Origins” this December 2025. FranSeth capped the evening by being awarded Couple of the Night.
Sharing their spotlight with them were their co-stars in the same movie, one of the most awaited love teams of the night, JM Ibarra and Fyang Smith, collectively known as JMFyang, from “PBB Gen 11.” JM looked sharp in his olive green suit, while Fyang stunned in her signature red gown.
Closing the night with star power, the Phenomenal Love Team of their generation, DonBelle, graced the red carpet in striking green and silver ensembles. They are not only one of the most successful pair in the country but also thriving as individual actors. Donny, who had just premiered his series “Roja,” revealed that he came straight from taping the night before the ball. Belle, meanwhile, starred in 2025’s highest-grossing Filipino films “Meet, Greet, and Bye.”
With kilig, sparkle, and holiday fun, the Star Magical Christmas 2025 once again proved that the season shines brightest with love and light.
