Uncertainty builds in the November 24 episode, opening with Alice (Janella Salvador) mysteriously waking to her dishevelled room—shattered glass scattered across the floor, sheets upturned, and the balcony door swung wide open. The distorted cuts gradually heighten the tension, conveying a creeping sense of unease and panic settling over her.
After a brief lull in the tension, Rose knocks and enters the room, her worry evident over the dripping wound on Alice’s forehead. The fear of Edong’s (Jake Cuenca) return resurfaces, but Alice is more absorbed in recalling what happened while she slept.
The search for Edong grows fiercer
Back to the unfolding drama, Lucas (JM de Guzman) persistently urges Erica (Kaila Estrada) and Marco (Race Matias) to join him in finding Edong (Jake Cuenca), hoping to move faster than the NLEA police force.
Even as he insists he has no ill intentions, a flashback reveals Lucas meeting with an old friend, Steve Kyo, who has been repeatedly calling him about undisclosed matters. Soon after, Steve’s father—and one of Lucas’s business investors—Lawrence, arrives with a commanding presence, suggesting that Edong’s troublesome escape could at any moment jeopardize their shady business dealings, with Lucas directly tied to Edong as his brother.
Lawrence intensifies the pursuit of Edong, determined to erase his critical existence. After the tension-filled conversation, Lucas locates an informant and instructs him to join the search for Edong. Familiar with Lucas’s background, the informant is puzzled by Lucas’s apparent willingness to cooperate with the police—having previously despised them. He reasons that Edong can’t remain free here and instead plans to use every means to find him and hide him in another country.
Unexpectedly, Erica agrees but insists that Lucas prove he harbors no malicious intentions by revealing all the possible places where Edong might take refuge. Marco hesitates, but to everyone’s surprise, Lucas lists his mother’s tombstone along with five other locations.
Beth sets out to live another ordinary day
Trying to shake off the constant dread following Edong’s (Jake Cuenca) escape, Beth (Charlie Dizon), along with Ryan (Yves Flores) and Chloe (Jewel Milag), busily go about their usual routines at school and work.
Running a bit late, Chloe suddenly heads toward the attic, determined to retrieve Beth’s old high school photos—though Beth insists she lost them the moment they moved in.
Still unconvinced, Chloe wears a quiet, reflective expression as she recalls one night when she saw Beth looking concerned over Erica’s (Kaila Estrada) statement about Edong (Jake Cuenca) on the news.
Alice begins addressing the causes of her trauma
On a call, Beth expresses concern about Mel (Sue Ramirez), who hasn’t been in touch, but Alice (Janella Salvador) reassures her, saying she spoke to Mel last night about her meeting schedule.
They share an eerie coincidence, as both had dreams about Louisa’s (Mutya Orquia) death. Beth poses a hypothetical question about Louisa, asking whether Louisa would be upset if she admitted that she had tried to forget her over the years. Flustered, Alice responds that she couldn’t do what Beth suggests—she isn’t able to forget Louisa, despite the tragic fate that befell their friendship.
Agreeing to some extent, Beth points out that even if she tried to forget, Edong (Jake Cuenca) would inevitably make her remember, once again reviving the fear surrounding his escape. Out of concern, she suggests to Alice that Seth (Rhys Stevens) could be sent back to the U.S. with Susan (Carlene Aguilar). Despite the suggestion that her mother accompany Seth temporarily for safety against Edong, Alice firmly disagrees, warning that Scott (Mark Neumann) would find an even easier way to take Seth from her if that were to happen.
Taken aback by Alice’s hesitancy, Beth probes further about the custody battle between Alice and Scott, asking if there’s more to it than the cheating allegations, since Alice seems deeply afraid of her husband.
Unable to endure the anxiety-filled episodes on her own any longer, Alice reaches out to a psychologist, claiming that her husband, Scott, did something to her every night—though she can only recall flashes of her hands being tied in a dark room.
When asked how she was sure it was Scott, Alice expresses doubt but chooses to talk about the night of their fight, when a vase fell and triggered memories of her car accident.
Certain she was not imagining things, Alice tried to prove Scott’s hostile motives, but to no avail; all the footage from the hidden camera she installed revealed nothing—prompting her to speculate whether Scott knew about the camera or had tampered with the recordings.
A little later, Alice reveals that she felt responsible for the ransacked room earlier that morning but couldn’t remember any details. Recognizing the complexity of these revelations, the psychologist notes that they could be signs that Alice’s body is acting on its own, trying to process something it isn’t yet able to fully handle—likely related to her traumatic experiences.
Summoning the courage she has at the moment, Alice seeks advice on preventing further panic attacks and recalling more of what troubles her, in order to protect Seth from the effects of her trauma.
Mel outsmarts Anton’s security and flees
Feigning ignorance of Mel’s (Sue Ramirez) frustration over her cards and phone, hidden by Anton (Jameson Blake), he goes for a run but makes sure to threaten her again about her thoughts of escaping, emphasizing that she needs him to survive everything.
Setting the scene to make Mel feel completely hopeless, Anton reminds his security team never to give her a chance to leave the compound. But hours later, an ambulance arrives in response to an overdose call.
The moment they rush into Mel’s room, she’s gone—only to be seen hastily walking outside, though she’s not entirely safe, as Edong (Jake Cuenca) has his eyes fixed on her.
