In their pursuit of making it appear to the public that they are a happy family, Jackie (Angel Aquino) tried to beg Erika (Gillian Vicencio) to come with them to the city hall as they will turnover the ambulances they had pledged to a few barangays in Manila. However, Jackie still had no luck in dragging Erika into another publicity stunt as the latter declined her invitation.
As Jackie went back to the dining room to relay to Miguelito (Jake Cuenca) and Roberto (Albert Martinez) what happened, this prompted Miguelito to ask if they’re going to tag Don Gustavo (Dante Rivero) along with them, whom he described was just as useless as Erika. Little he did know that the old man was already coming to join them, which got him completely shocked.
Don Gustavo went on to imply that it wouldn’t be a big deal to him if they didn’t invite him to come since he was no longer interested in joining them, despite being told by Roberto. He then advised Miguelito about letting himself be drowned by power because the time may come that it would be too late for him to realize that it’s himself who has dragged himself down.
