“Love, Joy, Hope: Sabay Tayo Ngayong Pasko” is dominating trending conversations as the newest addition to ABS-CBN’s iconic lineup of Christmas IDs—beloved creations that Filipinos revisit every time the holiday season begins.
Altogether, the star-studded cast of the Kapamilya primetime teleseryes “FPJ’s Batang Quiapo,” “Sins of the Father,” and “What Lies Beneath” band together to share love, joy, and hope with viewers around the world.
Taking a break from intense drama and action-packed sequences, the “FPJ’s Batang Quiapo” family takes part in various merry-making scenes. The first was filmed inside the ABS-CBN compound, where Coco Martin, Rosanna Roces, Baron Geisler, Roi Vinzon, and Jake Cuenca—along with other cast members and Kapamilya employees—sing along to the Christmas ID as musicians fill the air with mellifluous trumpet sounds.
One of ABS-CBN’s powerhouse and signature artists, the Primetime King Coco Martin, is also seen smiling ear-to-ear during his solo shots inside the recording studio for his back-to-back surprise rapping segment with the Unkabogable Superstar Vice Ganda and Asia’s Superstar Kathryn Bernardo.
Of course, showbiz icon Charo Santos, had her phenomenal moment as well—wearing an elegant green dress as she harmonized to the jovial tune with Kapamilya staff, positioned just behind a sparkling Christmas tree.
In her simple “love, joy, hope” shirt, internet Maris Racal, who plays the role of Ponggay in “FPJ’s Batang Quiapo” is shown playfully shocked upon reading a red envelope before bursting into an infectious smile that instantly captivates the crowd.
Easing away from the disquieting revelations in “Sins of the Father,” the cast shifts into softer, more heartwarming scenes. Gerald Anderson leads the group, posing in front of the “love, joy, hope” parols and reviewing his footage with the staff, letting out a hearty chuckle.
Christmas isn’t complete without the evening masses, where Shaina Magdayao, JC de Vera, and RK Bagatsing take part, exchanging fist bumps and amiable smiles. Meanwhile, the FranSeth pairing—both clad in eye-catching blue—croon the song together, sharing sweet gazes even during their break time.
The rest of the “Sins of the Father” family also embody the joy woven into the Christmas ID, with Tirso Cruz III, Lotlot de Leon, Jeremiah Lisbo, Nico Antonio, Jerald Napoles, Reign Parani, and LA Santos all happily vibing along.
The stars of “What Lies Beneath” also take a breather from their intense portrayals of complex characters and nerve-racking plot twists. Like a P-pop girl group, the series’ heroines—Charlie Dizon, Sue Ramirez, Janella Salvador, and Kaila Estrada—radiate distinct womanly charms in their group shots.
They are soon joined by the riveting Jake Cuenca, who, in contrast to his brooding character Edong, giddily invites fellow leading actors Yves Flores, Jameson Blake, and Race Matias into the scene.
