After an exhilarating evening wherein the remaining 18 housemates of “Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0” went through the second group formation to form three new groups with six members each for the upcoming “Ligtask,” the housemates had a highly emotional and heartwarming day as they got to see and speak with the most special person in their respective lives—their younger selves.

But prior to that, the November 18 episode commenced with the introduction of the three new groups. Princess Aliyah and her teammates Joaquin Arce, Iñigo Jose, Sofia Pablo, Miguel Vergara, and Lee Victor call themselves “Strong-willed Fighters”; Eliza Borromeo and her groupmates Heath Jornales, Marco Masa, Krystal Brimner, Carmelle Collado, and Anton Vinzon tag themselves as “Determined Warriors”; while Ashley Sarmiento and her members Caprice Cayetano, Fred Moser, Rave Victoria, Lella Ford, and Clifford are dubbed the “Smiling Angels.”

Kuya then announced that the three groups will compete for a “Ligtask,” in which the winning group will be saved from the nominations and has the power to choose which group will be nominated.

The following morning, the housemates once again woke up to the sound of a school bell alarm and saw photos of themselves with their younger selves in the living room. Big Brother then summoned each team to the confession room to instruct them to write a letter for themselves.

As soon as they were done, he asked them to put their letters into a story book and go ahead to a special room where they would read the letter to the special person in their lives whose image would appear on the plasma screen in front of them—none other than their younger selves.

The first one to speak to their younger selves were Team Smiling Angels, starting off with Rave, who burst into tears as he opened up about the emotional pain he he had to carry and endure as a kid, especially after his parents broke up and his mom decided to leave him to his grandmother. But in spite of what happened, he has never harbored resentment against his mother and chooses to continue loving and understanding her, even during those times when he finds it hard to comprehend her decisions and actions in life. Kuya consoled Rave by telling him that his younger self is surely happy and proud of him.

He was succeeded by Fred, who told his younger self how blessed he is to be a part of a complete family who genuinely loves him, as well as reminded him to always pray, listen to their parents, and focus on his studies. Next was Caprice, who expressed her pride and delight as “Cap-Cap” is able to do something that they really loved at such a young age, which is acting. She also promised to protect and love her, as well as reminded her to always do her best and look at the brighter side of every situation.

Their teammate, Clifford, instantly got emotional upon seeing the picture of his younger self onscreen. He apologized to him for doing the things he actually didn’t want to do just to please the people he loves, yet he assured him that all his sacrifices back then were going to be all worth it in the end.

The next group to enter the special to read their letters were the members of the Determined Warriors, beginning with Anton Vinzon, who reminded “Ton-Ton” not to be afraid, pressured, nor nervous about the things he was going through at the time. Instead, he must enjoy his childhood and make the most of everything that he had.

He was followed by Carmelle, who expressed how happy she is as a child and how she continues to inspire and motivate her to get to where she is at present. She apologized to her for pushing her so much and vowed to make it up to her.

Former child stars Marco and Ashley were next, with Marco instantly getting overwhelmed with emotions as soon as he saw the picture of “Macocoy” and he started reading his letter to him. He told his younger self how proud he was of him and promised not to fail him so that all his efforts and sacrifices as a child were going to be all worth it. He ended his message to him by letting him know that they’d already gone far in life, and they would surely go further.

Ashley, meanwhile, began to cry when she mentioned her father abandoning them and how that hurt her so much. She also recalled how tired and struggling she was at the time, so she was thankful that her mom was there to support, accompany, and guide her all throughout. She also thanked “Arwen” for growing up a little bit early in order to be a breadwinner to their family and for living life the way she did.

Just like Ashley, Lee also looked back growing up without a dad and only having his doting mom by his side. He commended “Lulu” for being a strong and courageous child who never took revenge despite being bullied at school, as well as reminding him to always make the people around him happy.

Krystal, on the other hand, promised to make her proud, be “a soldier of Christ”, be a good role model to their younger brother Charles, and to always take care of their mom. During her conversation with Kuya inside the confession room, she imparted that the reason why she didn’t cry while talking to “Bulanglang” was because she wanted to show her that she is strong and that she could complain to her.

The last one for this episode was Lella of Team Smiling Angels, who also got teary eyed as soon as she started speaking to her younger self. She may have relatives in the industry, but she proudly told her that they were able to attain everything they’d used to only aspire in life with their own hardwork and efforts. She reminded the young Lella that she’s capable of doing anything and promised to bring her to greater heights.

Listen to the messages of Team Determined Warriors to their younger selves in the continuation of this special task in tonight’s episode of “PBB Collab 2.0,” which can be watched online via livestreams on the PBB YouTube Channel, Kapamilya Online Live (KOL), and iWant.
