Last week, Kuya showed the “Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0” housemates the videos of Kapamilya up-and-coming star Lella Ford and Kapuso heartthrobs Anton Vinzon and Heath Jornales doing different action stunts, which truly got everyone amazed.
Little did the trio know that they would be assigned as the leaders and directors of the third weekly task called “Pinoy Big Bakbakan,” in which they had to create a six-minute action sequence that must be comprised of various common elements of action series or movies. And in the November 16 episode, we finally had the chance to see not just how they prepared for it, but also the outcome of their week-long hardwork.
Aside from simply delivering their lines well, minding their blockings, and doing action scenes with precision, the “PBB Collab 2.0” housemates also had to make sure that their stunts should be in sync with the sound effects that Kuya told them to use. Those consisted of door kicks, punches and kicks, arnis hits, sword slashes, gunshots, and explosions. It's already upon the housemates’ discretion on how they’re going to utilize them, but they needed to learn the accurate timings for these.
Since both of them were already experienced when it comes to doing action scenes, not to mention that their dads are great actor-directors, it was Heath Jornales and Anton Vinzon who were in charge of the direction and choreography of the fight scenes. Lella Ford, on the other hand, was the one tasked to place each sound effect that they were about to use, while also assisting them as they started to instruct the housemates about everything they were supposed to do.
