After his partner, Linda (Aleck Bovick), managed to borrow money from her daughter, Dimples (Criza Taa), Mauro (Richard Quan) quickly took it from her and left in order to further grow it. While he was giddily walking to his destination, he was spotted by Taruc and his henchmen, who beat him up and brought him to their hangout place.
Taruc coerced him to return the money he gained from selling the motorcycle he had entrusted him to sell, but Mauro couldn’t produce any amount at the time. Just when Taruc was about to punch him again, two of his lackeys suddenly arrived, showing him the new motorcycle that they stole.
Mauro saw it as an opportunity for him to escape the wrath of Taruc by suggesting that he sell the motorcycle within the day and that his commission be his payment for the money that he owed him. Taruc surprisingly agreed to his suggestion despite already being tricked by him, so Mauro didn’t waste time doing it.
Apparently, Mauro succeeded in selling the motorcycle and was already heading back to Taruc when he passed by an e-sabong hub, or electronic cockfighting hub. Thinking that he might be lucky that day, he gambled all the money only to go home empty-handed.
