“Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0” housemate Eliza Borromeo confessed about her own “multo," which, unlike the others, wasn’t a person but a painful chapter in her journey—her schooling. She revealed that her parents wanted her to focus solely on her studies instead of pursuing acting, believing she had no real talent for showbiz. However, their family doesn't have a stable source of income, which pushes her to want to work and help out financially.
When she told her parents that she wanted to balance both school and acting, they didn’t allow her, worse, they discouraged her further. "Hindi raw kakayanin ng utak ko," said Eliza.
Eliza struggled to open up, admitting that she often felt conflicted about speaking her truth because she had been taught by her parents which parts of her life were acceptable to reveal and which parts she had to keep hidden.
