Aside from Tanggol (Coco Martin), Tindeng (Charo Santos) was also delighted to see his friends as well. Since she has known them ever since they were kids, she couldn’t help but notice that one of them was missing—Oweng (Renz “Baby Giant” Baña).
Sadness and pain were instantly painted onto the faces of Tropang Tanggol, who are still grieving the tragic demise of their little friend. Tanggol relayed to Tindeng that Oweng unexpectedly died during one of their missions, which she initially refused to believe since she knew that he would never let that happen.
Tanggol recounted that it happened when they were supposed to take his father, Ramon (Christopher de Leon), away from the hospital, but that plan was foiled as they figured in a wild three-way clash with the police and the Red Phoenix group. Oweng got fatally shot, which caused his heartbreaking death.
Tindeng offered her condolences to Tropang Tanggol and went on to express how he admired Oweng for his bravery to fight alongside him and his willingness to sacrifice his life for him. She also told Tanggol that for Oweng’s demise not to be in vain, they would bring his name and memories into their every battle.
