Love is in the air, and so is mystery, in Episode 52 of "It’s Okay to Not Be Okay."
It opens with Patrick (Joshua Garcia) and Mia (Anne Curtis) on a spontaneous date at a park, where he helps her put together the “Day in My Life” project for her new endorsement. Patrick doesn’t have a hard time dealing with Mia’s random quirks, except for the moment when she admits that she doesn’t like kids because they are noisy and messy, and she finds them annoying, even if children are the main supporters of her books. Patrick, on the other hand, is the complete opposite as he loves being around children and finds comfort in their presence, saying that just one hug from a kid is enough to make him feel better.
Mia then sulks, claiming that she would only get jealous if ever they had kids. Patrick smiles and assures her that his heart is big enough to have room to love everyone. Later on, while Patrick is busy reviewing the shots, Mia blurts out that she now wants a “Little Patrick,” since that would mean there are two ‘Patricks’ to love her. Trying to get his attention, she calls out for Patrick to get her pregnant, leaving him flustered as he hushes her in embarrassment with so many people around.
Love seems to be tiptoeing its way toward Gemma (Kaori Oinuma) and Vincent (Enchong Dee) as well, with Madeth (Xyriel Manabat) playing the cupid. Gemma can’t quite sit still when Vincent leaves for Manila to take care of Mia’s endorsement errands, especially after learning that the client he’s set to meet is none other than his ex-girlfriend, Erica (Claire Ruiz) who, according to Madeth, is still on good terms with him.
Gemma gets more anxious during her duty in OK Hospital, when she happens to share a conversation with Nurse Pogi (Aljon Mendoza) and Doc Emman (Mark Oblea) about the latter’s reconciliation with his own ex, whom he admits he never stopped loving and with whom he managed to stay friends even through their time apart. Later that evening, Madeth picks up on the subtle signs of Gemma’s jealousy as Vincent still hasn’t reached out. And with the eagerness of an assistant and a matchmaker, Madeth reports this to Vincent and then counsels him like a love guru that the best thing to do is to let Gemma wait and keep her yearning for him.
Meanwhile, at the mansion, Matmat (Carlo Aquino) opens up to Patrick about his therapy session with Doc Anok (Bobot Mortiz), where the latter encouraged him to confront his fear of butterflies, especially if he considers Patrick’s well-being, since Patrick’s love for him means he also shares in his trauma. Patrick then explains to Matmat what Doc Anok meant when he said that in other countries, the butterfly is seen as a symbol of healing. However, Matmat refuses to confront the thought when Patrick asks if he is ready to overcome his fear of butterflies.
After that conversation, Patrick feels trapped in Mia’s insistence that they talk in her room over wine, cheese, and "more" (points to herself). She tries to seduce him but ends up drunk and dozes off. Though she never gets to pursue her mischievous plans that night, Mia finds herself content just being in his arms and sharing his company. And in a rare moment, Patrick admits that he is happy too.
As Patrick leaves Mia’s room, he passes by the library and finds a letter left behind by Zelda (Ana Abad-Santos), inside it a pressed butterfly and a haunting note that says, "Babalikan kita.”
Back at OK Hospital, Doc Anok, Olivia (Maricel Laxa), and Eden (Agot Isidro) check on Zelda, who hysterically recounts what happened after she escaped from the facility and went to Mia’s house to greet her on her birthday. She reveals that she was taken by an enraged man (Dipong, the mansions caretaker), who mistook her for Ingrid, Mia’s mother.
The incident worsens Zelda’s condition, leading her to insist on being transferred to another hospital. Before she can leave, Patrick arrives and stops her to press for answers. Zelda admits that while she left the letter Patrick discovered, it was never hers to write. Letters, she explains, have been mysteriously delivered to her inside the facility, as though she is being used to deliver them to their intended recipients. As a devoted fan, Zelda has followed Ingrid's life and everything about her, enough to know her every move and so she's certain the letters come from her.
With her voice trembling, Zelda insists that Ingrid is alive. And if there's one thing she knows for sure, it is that Ingrid has been watching quietly from inside OK Hospital all along.
