Looking back, it’s hard to imagine anyone else bringing Iris to life with the same nuance, fire, and heartbreak as Janine herself.
Janine feels fulfilled knowing she delivered on the directors' vision and that viewers truly appreciated their teleserye. Wherever she goes, she encounters people who watched and enjoyed the show.
"Sobrang saya na mapabilang sa cast ng ‘Lavender Fields’ kasi sobrang husay ng lahat ng artista at sobrang ganda ng kwento at nabigyan kami ng oras ng lahat ng manonood," she reflected on her journey in the series.
Janine hopes that in the end, Iris leaves viewers with meaningful lessons about redemption. "Sana maiparating niya ang isang message of hope na it's not too late na magbagong-buhay, humingi ng tawad sa mga pagkakamali mo." As for her wish for Iris, a character she's learned to love and understand, she thought, "Sana malaman niya na worthy siya of love."
