The ABS-CBN Christmas Special 2024, "Shine Kapamilya: Tulong-Tulong Ngayong Pasko," hangover is still real, and we just can’t get enough of the happy vibes brought by the stellar line-up of performers, including the "FPJ's Batang Quiapo" cast.
So, to keep alive the festive energy from the dazzling event, which aired in a two-part episode over the weekend, we're taking you behind the scenes through a gallery of photos. Check out the album to see how much fun the squad had, from rehearsal time to their candid moments backstage.
What better way to kick off the holiday season than a cheerful gathering with family, right? This marks the second Christmas that the "FPJ’s Batang Quiapo" family is celebrating together, and their camaraderie filled the Smart Araneta Coliseum during their prep time, just hours before the show started.
In the photos, we see lead star and director Coco Martin spending quality time with his team. He also posed with ABS-CBN COO Cory Vidanes. Of course, as with any Christmas party, reunions are a must! In one snap, Coco is seen chatting with Paulo Avelino, with whom he previously worked on "Walang Hanggan" and "FPJ's Ang Probinsyano."
He was also spotted chilling with his tropa—Jojit Lorenzo, Ryan Martin, Marc “Big Mac” Andaya, Sugar Ray “Mammoth” Estroso, and Renz “Baby Giant” Bana—who all joined him on stage in a joyful performance for the Kapamilya community.
When it’s picture time, wacky shots are never missing! Can we all agree that Rosanna Roces and Kim Domingo still look perfect even when trying to be funny? Also joining in the tradition, where the rest of the cast members came together to sing and dance to the tune of disco hits from the ’90s, were seasoned actors John Estrada, Cherry Pie Picache, Pen Medina, Allan Paule, Joey Marquez, Ricardo Cepeda, Ronnie Lazaro, and the crowd favorite Roda, played by Joel Lamangan.
Adding to the fun were Ronwaldo Martin, Maika Rivera, and John Medina, who all joined in the holiday hataw, and rappers Bassilyo and Smugglaz.
