It was in 2005 when ABS-CBN’s long-running kiddie gag show, “Goin Bulilit,” premiered and began to bring laughter and good vibes to the world. And almost two decades later, its former child stars have taken various paths, with some of them pursuing other endeavors outside showbiz while others have already settled down with the loves of their lives.

And in this edition of Kapamilya Update, let’s meet its five alumni who are now blissfully married!

Let’s begin with Aaliyah Benisano, who appeared in the comedy program from 2007 to 2011. While she seems to have stepped out of showbiz since her “graduation,” she continues to gain the admiration of many via the stunning photos of herself that she posts on Instagram. And just recently, she surprised her followers when she shared snaps from her intimate civil wedding with non-showbiz partner Josh Stehmeier last November 7.

Another Goin’ Bulilit alumni to astonish us with their exchange of “I dos” was the pair of Nash Aguas and Mika Dela Cruz, who tied the knot through a lovely Christian garden wedding last May 18, 2024. Apparently, their loves tory started when both of them were still working on the show, with Nash being one of the pioneer cast while Mika beginning her stint in 2006. Their friendship eventually developed into a romantic affair in 2018 when they got reunited after years of not seeing each other and the rest, as they say, is history.

After seven years of dating, Trina “Hopia” Legaspi, who was also among the first batch of bulilits, finally walked down the aisle with her non-showbiz husband Ryan Jarina when they got married in November 2021 at the Holy Trinity Episcopal Church in Makati City. They celebrated their first anniversary the following by holding another church wedding at the Christ the King Parish in Quezon City, as their way of honoring the request of Ryan’s grandparents for them to get married there. In 2023, they welcomed their daughter named Kaela, who’s now already one-year-old.

And lastly, the first-ever “Goin’ Bulilit” alumni to get hitched is Carl John Barrameda, who was also part of the pioneer batch. He got married to Nikolai Cimatu in March 2020 and they welcomed their first child in 2023.

This feature is truly making us feel old, right, Kapamilya?
