One of the little challenges that some of us frequently encounter is deciding what to wear for a certain day. There are many things to consider in making a decision, and color is arguably one of them. However, we can all agree that there’s one specific color that has been our go-to every time we don’t feel like thinking too much about our outfits.
Thus, we asked some of our favorite Kapamilya celebrities which certain color they’re likely to wear for the rest of their lives and their reasons for choosing so. We compiled their responses in this exclusive video!
Apparently, regardless if it’s a real color or not, the top choice among this set is “black,” citing it as their favorite because of how versatile, classy, and effortlessly stylish it is. “Pinoy Big Brother Gen 11” housemates Jarren Garcia, Therese Villamor, Dingdong Bahan, Kai Montinola, Rain Celmar, and Fyang Smith share the same fondness for black. The same goes with “Showtime Online U” hosts Sheena Belarmino and Anne Tenorio, as well as “ASAP” mainstays Yeng Constantino, Robi Domingo, and Edward Barber.
The runner-up is “white,” which is a favorite among Shaina Magdayao, Loisa Andalio, and “PBB Gen 11” housemates JP Cabrera and Patrick Ramirez. Aside from being simple and chic, white can also make the wearer look clean and sophisticated.
Another neutral color that made it to this list is brown, which Kapamilya artist Marielle Montellano’s pick.
On the other hand, other artists opted for the primary colors. Both Kyle Echarri and Anji Salvacion chose red. Kyle says it’s his favorite color, while Anji thinks that she looks good in it.
AC Soriano and Maymay Entrata both prefer yellow. According to the Showtime Online U host, there were people who told him that the color suits him well, while the “Amakabogera” hitmaker has liked the color ever since she was young and has received comments that she seems to radiate yellow aura.
Angela Ken, Darren Espanto, and JM Dela Cerna are all drawn to blue, with the two heartthrobs specifying that it’s navy blue for them because of how refreshing and easy to match the shade is.
And lastly, “PBB Gen 11” alumnae Jas Dudley-Scales and Kolette Madelo, and “Showtime Online U” host Lorraine Galvez, all prefer pink. While Jas said that it’s simply her favorite, Kolette and Lorraine regard it as their “lucky color” since they were dressed in pink garbs during the grand finals of the competitions they participated in—Kolette in PBB and Lorraine in “Tawag ng Tanghalan.”
