"Halik" sets the online world on fire with its top-trending episodes. Spectators never want to miss a single scene of the unpredictable tale of Lino, Jade, Jacky and Ace. A lot of twists and turns have steered their journeys; and these life-changing experiences transformed them into the worse and better versions of themselves.
The devoted husband, Lino (Jericho Rosales), has always been responsible and dependable. From a poor guy disapproved by his first love’s parents because of his social status, Lino has emerged as the owner and boss of his own company. Indeed, the dreamer in him never sleeps. He may be slowly getting his hands on the success he has always dreamt of but Lino is still in emotional turmoil. Lino took all the bitterness of his wife’s extramarital affairs. Worse, his feeling for his first love is reawakened just in time when his marriage is in trouble. Lino continues to heal his heart and we are still to find out if the faithful man will chose to be loyal to his vows or his real emotions.
Lust and jealousy has marred Jade’s (Yam Concepcion) colorful personality. The ambitious wife slowly took a bite on the tempting bait of infidelity. She has gone through a lot since then – video scandal, unexpected pregnancy, begging for a second chance – life has been cruel to the mistress! Yet, Jade has learned to pick up her lessons the hard way. Now that she has entered motherhood, Jade makes an effort to rekindle her marriage with Lino. The once fiery and headstrong Jade transitioned into a submissive woman but despite the desire to make things right, challenges keep raining down on her.
Jacky (Yen Santos) used to be the girl whose world revolved around her past and keeps asking fate to throw in the acceptance she yearns. Jacky was once a soft woman who dealt with pain with just tears and silence. She discovers that her husband is hiding something evil behind his sweet talks and gestures. Through the struggles she has battled with in her married life, Jacky was pushed to evolve into a fighter. She has learned to discover more about herself including her inner strength.
Ace (Sam Milby) may be a good player of adulterous games but there is one thing he used to lack before – his family’s appraisal. His father looked at him as a weak businessman; an unintelligent guy who only resorts to charm and good looks to fill in that huge hole in his personality. Ace managed to prove his Dad otherwise especially now that he has become the MonteCorp’s CEO. Yet, his sudden climb to the ladder of success has made Ace more arrogant and evil; and being a womanizer is still marked in his character.
