As the premiere of “Tayo Sa Wakas” inches closer, the picture of Cisco (Donny Pangilinan) and Cheska’s (Belle Mariano) relationship only grows more complicated and heartbreaking.
The film’s second official trailer, released on May 20, dives deeper into the emotional cracks between the long-time couple, giving viewers a fuller glimpse into their work dynamics, emotional struggles, and the difficult questions threatening the future they once imagined together.
From career clashes to painful confrontations, here are new details we spotted in the second trailer!
Cisco and Cheska vow to “drive” one last time
Before anything were to fall apart, Cisco and Cheska appear to make a solemn promise to each other: if things are really ending, they will not walk away in an instant.
The trailer opens in a striking way, as Cisco can be heard saying: “If ever we do want to end this, we don't just disappear. We drive.”
We then cut to a giddy Cisco and Cheska hopping inside a car, laughing over supposedly making up after a short-lived breakup.
As images of a scenic trip are woven into snippets of the couple’s relationship, one can’t help but wonder where exactly the road of life will lead them.

Cisco and Cheska are a workplace power duo
Beyond romance, it is also revealed that Cisco and Cheska are also partners in ambition.
The two appear deeply in sync at work; a creative duo admired by the people around them. Cisco encourages Cheska through moments of self-doubt, reassuring her before an important pitch presentation.
A co-worker acknowledges their undeniable chemistry: “You're trained by the best. 'Yan ang perfect pair!”

Love slowly turns into competition
What happens when growth no longer happens at the same pace?
As Cheska begins thriving in her career, subtle shifts in their relationship begin to emerge. The new trailer hints at Cisco struggling professionally while Cheska rises, turning admiration and support into emotional tension.
In one painful confrontation, Cisco finally voices his frustrations: “They're kicking me while I'm down and you're just letting them!”
Soon, Cheska finds herself questioning whether love can survive when ego enters the picture. In perhaps one of the trailer’s most heartbreaking moments, she asks Cisco: “Magiging ganyan ka ba palagi tuwing matatalo kita? Kung matapatan kita o mahigitan kita, kaya mo ba ‘kong mahalin? Kaya mo?”
It is a devastating question — one that seems to sit at the very core of “Tayo Sa Wakas”.

A proposal called off?
Adding another emotional layer to the story is a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it moment involving a small red box — one that strongly resembles an engagement ring case.
In a particularly emotional scene, Cisco appears to hand the box to Cheska before walking away, leaving her visibly overwhelmed as she stares at it alone.
Could there have been plans for forever before everything started crumbling down?

One thing is certain: the second trailer of “Tayo Sa Wakas” makes Cisco and Cheska’s story feel even more emotionally loaded — filled with love, resentment, dreams, and difficult choices that feel painfully real.
