Need more reasons to watch “Hello, Love, Again” over and over again? Look no further than the glowing reviews of celebrities on Kathryn Bernardo and Alden Richards’ comeback as their beloved characters Joy and Ethan in “Hello, Love, Again”!
The sequel film, co-produced by Star Cinema and GMA Pictures, builds on the foundation of the 2019 hit “Hello, Love, Goodbye” and follows the next chapter of Joy and Ethan’s journey of love, self-discovery, and resilience as Overseas Filipino Workers.
Now in its third week in cinemas worldwide, the film continues to capture hearts everywhere. But don’t just take our word for it, because here’s what the stars have to say!
Francine Diaz and Seth Fedelin, known to fans as FranSeth, gushed over how they emotionally connected to the film.
Seth said, “Mababasag ka, eh!” with Francine Diaz chiming in, “Makukuha nila ’yung soft spot mo.”
For Kyline Alcantara, who watched the film with her boyfriend, professional basketball player Kobe Paras, the movie sparked a deep appreciation for love and dreams: “Ang sarap magmahal. Ang sarap mangarap also.”
Barbie Forteza, accompanied by fellow actor Jak Roberto, expressed deep admiration for the film’s tribute to overseas Filipino workers: “Puso talaga. Tribute po ito sa ating mga manggagawa overseas. Dapat n’yo pong mapanood itong pelikulang ito.”
Meanwhile, Sofia Pablo and her love team partner Allen Ansay praised the overall cinemartic experience: “‘Yung experience sa loob ng cinema, ang saya kasi ‘yung crowd, talagang buhay na buhay.”
Allen added, “Promise, mabubusog ang puso n’yo.”
The heartwarming positive feedback was not limited to on-screen and real-life couples. More Kapamilya artists such as Bong Gonzales and Shanaia Gomez, as well as Kapuso artist Roxie Smith couldn’t hide their excitement too after watching the film.
Without giving spoilers away, Bong admitted that he teared up during the film’s finale, saying, “Grabe ‘yung ending na ‘yun.”
Shanaia Gomez, clearly hooked, revealed, “I'm planning to watch ‘Hello, Love, Again’ again, and again, and again!”
Roxie Smith also gushed with her fellow Sparkle artists, saying, “Kung sobrang ganda nung unang film, doble ‘to. Kung hindi doble, triple!”
Audiences have been vocal about their love for the film, with reactions ranging from laughter to tears, with one viewer saying, “Halo-halo ‘yung emosyon.”
Another quipped, “Dahil sa movie na ‘to, parang babalikan ko ‘yung ex ko!”
“Hindi masasayang ‘yung pera n’yo. Uulit-ulitin n’yo,” another viewer enthusiastically recommended.
Milo Elmido Jr., who was a host at the film’s promotional tour, couldn’t have said it better himself: “Iba talaga ‘yung naging journey ni Ethan tsaka ni Joy.”
