BTS's Jung Kook has once again etched his name into music history after his track "Seven (feat. Latto)" officially crossed the 3 billion stream mark on Spotify, becoming the first song by an Asian and Korean artist to ever reach the milestone on the global streaming platform.
The achievement was announced by BigHit Music on June 23 as cited by The Korea Herald and The Korea Times, marking yet another record-breaking moment in Jung Kook’s rapidly growing solo career.

The track has also become the only song released in 2023 worldwide to surpass the 3-billion-stream milestone so far.
Following the latest milestone, "Seven (feat. Latto)" now sits at No. 64 on Spotify’s all-time most-streamed songs chart and has maintained a remarkable 153-week run on Spotify’s Weekly Top Songs Global chart, making it the longest-charting solo release by an Asian artist on the platform.
Released as a pop track centered on the desire to spend every day with someone you love, "Seven (feat. Latto)" blends an infectious melody with warm acoustic guitar elements while incorporating rhythms inspired by UK garage, a genre of electronic music that first emerged in Britain in the early 1990s.
Since its debut, the song has consistently delivered strong global performance across major music charts.
Upon release, "Seven (feat. Latto)" debuted at No. 1 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100, while also peaking at No. 3 on the UK Official Singles Chart Top 100.
The song remained on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart for 15 weeks and dominated both the Billboard Global 200 and Global Excl. U.S. charts for seven consecutive weeks, another achievement that marked a first for an Asian solo artist.
The success of "Seven (feat. Latto)" has also earned Jung Kook multiple recognitions from Guinness World Records. Among the four Guinness World Records attached to the song is the title for most-streamed track by a male artist on Spotify in a single week, after recording 89,748,171 streams.
The music video for "Seven (feat. Latto)" continues to grow in popularity as well, with total views surpassing 619 million as of June 2026.
Even three years after the song’s release, fans continue to celebrate its success online, with many revisiting the track and praising Jung Kook’s continued growth as a global artist.
“This guy started giving away free tickets in 2013. And now, he's breaking the world record. We're so proud of you Jungkookie!!!" one wrote.
“The MV of the song is so cinematic... and the chorus is really very addictive... This song is constantly playing in my mind... it's really very euphonious... It literally blowed my mind ❤❤ I have to say JK and all our 7 Kings are really very hardworking,” another added.
Meanwhile, Jung Kook and the rest of BTS are currently on their Arirang World Tour, with fans in the Philippines already gearing up for the group’s highly anticipated return.
The global superstars are set to hold the Philippine leg of their sold-out three-day concert at the Philippine Sports Stadium on March 13, 14, and 16, 2027.
