Taylor Swift scored her 15th No. 1 hit on the Billboard Hot 100 with "I Knew It, I Knew You" from the Toy Story soundtrack.
"[Taylor] now has the third-most No. 1s in the chart’s 68-year history, only behind The Beatles (20) and Mariah Carey (19). Plus, the song is just the third Hot 100 No. 1 ever from an animated Disney movie, and the first from its Pixar studio, following the ensemble 'We Don’t Talk About Bruno,' from ‘Encanto,’ in 2022 and Peabo Bryson and Regina Belle’s 'A Whole New World,' from ‘Aladdin,’ in 1993," Billboard announced on social media.
The music publication reported that “I Knew It, I Knew You” debuted with 27.2 million U.S. streams, 46.7 million radio audience impressions, and 87,000 copies sold during its first week (June 5 to 11).
Of its total sales, 70,000 came from downloads, while 17,000 were from CD singles featuring the original, acoustic, and piano versions.
The song also made history on Spotify on the day of its release.
"On June 5th, 2026, Taylor Swift's 'I Knew It, I Knew You' became the most-streamed country song in a single day by a female artist in Spotify history," Spotify previously announced.
Taylor recently looked back on the process of creating the country song.
"Writing this song felt like a musical departure and coming home at the same time. Creating something for Jessie (Toy Story character) was a new challenge and also felt like second nature all at once. And being a @toystory kid from the age of 5 til now… is an adventure I plan to be on, to infinity and beyond," she shared on Instagram.

The global pop star previously revealed that she has long been a fan of Toy Story.
"I’ve always dreamed of getting to write for these characters who I’ve adored since I was a 5-year-old kid watching the first Toy Story movie. I fell instantly in love with Toy Story 5 when I was lucky enough to see it in its early stages, and I wrote this song as soon as I got home from the screening. Sometimes you just know, right?" she said.
