The long-awaited reunion of F4 members Jerry Yan, Vanness Wu, and Vic Chou — billed as the F☆FOREVER 1st World Tour — together with Mayday's Ashin, is officially coming to the Philippines.
On Sunday, May 17, Live Nation Philippines announced on its social media pages that the concert will take place at the Philippine Arena on June 27, 2026.
Tickets go on sale in just under a week. The Live Nation Philippines Presale runs on May 23, from 12:00 p.m. to 11:59 p.m., while General On-Sale begins on May 24 at 12:00 p.m. via smtickets.com and SM Tickets outlets nationwide. Seat maps and ticket prices have yet to be announced.
It's worth noting, however, that original F4 member Ken Chu will not be joining the reunion. He confirmed his absence from the world tour back in December last year.
“So to say, for this activity, for this time, I definitely won’t participate. There’s some regret, but I must make it clear to everyone here. Hoping that everyone can understand this matter,” he said.
But Ken expressed hope that he would still get to share the stage with his former bandmates in the future.
“Well, I also hope there will be a day when the intentions of all four of us can be consistent.
"Then we can truly bring everyone a great event. I hope everyone still looks forward to it, because I’m quite looking forward to it, too,” he remarked.
F4 rose to international fame in 2001 off the back of the hit Taiwanese drama Meteor Garden, quickly becoming one of the most beloved Asian pop acts of the era.
The group consisted of Jerry Yan, Vanness Wu, Ken Chu, and Vic Chou — four of the drama's lead actors who went on to release music together under the F4 name.
Their self-titled debut album and subsequent releases topped charts across Asia, cementing their status as one of the region's defining pop acts of the early 2000s.
The Philippine fanbase, in particular, was among the most passionate in Asia during Meteor Garden's original run.
The drama aired on ABS-CBN and became a local cultural phenomenon, drawing massive ratings and introducing a generation of Filipino viewers to Taiwanese pop culture.
A reunion concert at the Philippine Arena, one of the largest indoor venues in the world, reflects just how enduring that connection has remained.
Ashin, meanwhile, is the lead vocalist and primary songwriter of fellow Taiwanese act Mayday, one of Asia's most acclaimed and longest-running rock bands.
Formed in 1997, Mayday has built a devoted following across Asia over nearly three decades, known for their anthemic rock sound and emotionally resonant lyrics.
Ashin's inclusion in the F☆FOREVER tour adds a significant draw for fans of the broader Taiwanese music scene.
