Global pop superstar Taylor Swift has released the music video for her latest single, "Elizabeth Taylor."
The music video release was announced by the singer's management team Taylor Nation on Instagram on Tuesday, March 31.
"What could you possibly get for the girl on the last day of Women’s History Month? We have something in mind! The Elizabeth Taylor Music Video is out now on @Spotify Premium and @applemusic. 🫶," Taylor Nation posted.
The music video serves as a tribute to Elizabeth Taylor, incorporating archival footage of the iconic actress through the years. It showcases scenes of her public appearances alongside highlights from her acclaimed performances in films such as Cleopatra, Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?, and Boom!, among others.
Fans online were quick to react to the music video.

"Elizabeth Taylor" is part of Taylor's latest studio album, Life of a Showgirl, which achieved a historic feat after selling more than 4 million copies in its first week of release in October 2025, marking the biggest debut week in music history.
"I'll never forget how excited I was in 2006 when my first album sold 40,000 copies in its first week. I was 16 and couldn't even fathom that that many people would care enough about my music to invest their time and energy into it. Since then I've tried to meet and thank as many people as I could who have given me the chance to chase this insane dream," she wrote on social media as she celebrated the milestone at that time.
She added: "Here we are all these years later and a hundred times that many people showed up for me this week."
In an interview on the New Heights podcast in August 2025, Taylor explained that the album draws from her life behind the spotlight.
"This album is about what was going on behind the scenes in my inner life during [the Eras] tour, which was so exuberant and electric and vibrant," she said. "It just comes from the most infectiously joyful, wild, dramatic place I was in in my life, and so that effervescence has come through on this record."
She also reunited with longtime collaborators Max Martin and Shellback for the project, marking their first time creating an album solely as a trio.
"We've never actually made an album before where it's just the three of us. There's no other collaborators. It's just the three of us making a focused album were it felt like catching lightning in a bottle. These guys, they are just geniuses in different avenues, in different ways," she remarked.
