As a long time Wattpad reader and a fan of Ang Mutya ng Section E. I never imagined that the stories I used to read late at night—until 3 AM—would come into life.

The Ang Mutya ng Section E: OST Live In Concert was not just a celebration of music, it was a love letter to fans like me who fell in love with the characters, the drama, and of course the soundtrack that crried all the feels of the series.

Living th Dream with The OST Artist

I have always had a soft spot for the soundtrack, mainly "Tibok" of Earl Agustin. As someone who been a silent listener of his cover songs on YouTube, hearing him perfoem live was surreal. His voice conveyed so much emotion, it felt like I was listening to a diary entry set to music.

Amiel Sol's "Sa Bawat Sandali" hit me right in the heart. Knowing it was writtern to echo the themes of friendship made the performance even more warm. It reminded me why this series resonated with so many—it is about connection that feels like home.

And Rob Deniel? Don't even get me started on "Miss Miss". It was something magical about the way it closed out the night with hope and warmth. His nostalgic sound paired with the crowd singing along, felt like a moment I wanted to battle up forever.

GAT’s powerful performance of “Daleng Dale” shook the stage—literally. Their charisma and stage presence perfectly reflected Jayjay’s strong personality. And let’s not forget that some GAT members were also part of the Ang Mutya... cast, which made the performance even more special. It was like watching the characters break into song and dance in the best way possible.

Surprises that Stole the Show

I came to the concert expecting to see Ashtine Olviga at the AMNSE Girls and they definitely delivered! Seeing them in person made feel like I was suddely part of the Section E squad. But the night had a surprise waiting for me.

When Earl suddenly introduced Aubrey Caraan best known for her role as Samantha Vera in the university-themed series Avenues of Diamond (a VivaOne and Wattpad favorite)—I was completely caught off guard. I wasn’t expecting her appearance at all, and I was absolutely stunned. Her duet with Earl was nothing short of captivating—every bit as striking as she is.

As soon as I entered the New Frontier Theater, a thought crossed my mind—could Rabin Angeles be here tonight? His posters with Ashtine were all over the venue, so maybe I just missed an official announcement. And then, there he was. Rabin took the stage with an energetic dance performance, but the real surprise came when he shared a duet moment with Angela Muji. I wasn’t expecting it at all, but it definitely made me kilig. Their chemistry was undeniable, especially when their faces were just inches apart at the end of "No Erase." The crowd went wild and so did I.

It was one of those “wait—what?!” moments that instantly turned into a highlight of the night. The unexpected appearances added an extra spark of excitement, filling the theater with a surge of energy and nostalgia especially for fans who’ve followed these artists through their series and real-life journeys.

And then, of course, there was Ashtine. She never disappoints. Her talent shines every time she steps on stage effortlessly blending vocals, dance, and stage presence into something unforgettable. I had seen rehearsal photos of her upcoming duet with Amiel Sol, so I knew “Sa Bawat Sandali” was part of the setlist. But hearing it live? It hit differently. Their voices blended so beautifully, and the emotion behind the performance gave the entire theater chills. It wasn’t just a song—it was a moment.

Ashtine has a solo performance. She sang “Duyan” by Sarah Geronimo. Her rendition was heartfelt and moving, filling the theater with a quiet kind of magic. You could feel the emotion in every note.

More Than Just a Concert

This wasn’t just a night of performances. It was a gathering of a community—a fandom that grew up with Ang Mutya ng Section E from words on a screen to a full-blown multimedia universe. Seeing fellow fans, cheering their hearts out, and singing every lyric made me realize just how powerful stories can be when they’re shared.

As the lights dimmed and the crowd slowly left the venue, I held onto one thought: “This is why we love OPM. This is why we support Filipino stories.”

Thank you to VivaOne and everyone behind Ang Mutya ng Section E for giving us this moment. For fans like me who started from the Wattpad version, this concert was more than just music—it was a memory made real.
