MANILA -- Christophe Sommereux, the son of celebrity couple Gladys Reyes and Christopher Roxas, has released his debut self-titled extended play under StarPop.
The EP is out now on various streaming platforms, while the tracks' lyrics videos were uploaded on YouTube page of Star Music.
“I’m incredibly grateful and honored to be a part of this family and I’m really excited to share my music to the world," Sommereux said in an earlier social media post.
" I know this won’t be easy but I’m ready to traverse this diverse, challenging, and also unpredictable landscape of the OPM industry dito sa Pilipinas,” added Sommereux, who started writing songs at 15.
Sommereux's alternative rock album features six tracks including his original compositions “Take Care,” “Sira,” and “Abot Bituin.”
The rest of the tracks are “Sine,” “Basta Ika’y Nariyan,” and “Aren’t You Ready.”
Sommereux's mini album was executively produced by StarPop label head Roque “Rox” Santos and Jonathan Manalo, ABS-CBN Music creatives, content, and operations head.
In their respective social media posts, Sommereux's parents expressed their support to their eldest son's debut album.
Aside from Christophe, Reyes and Roxas have three other children: Aquisha, Gavin Cale and Grant.
