Actress and musician Nadine Lustre shared that she is hopeful about launching a new album next year–– if everything aligns. Speaking with PUSH exclusively during the grand launch of her upcoming film, Uninvited, earlier this week, she bared how much she missed performing onstage.
Nadine’s last musical release was back in 2023 with the hit single, "Overgrown," which has nearly two million streams alone on the music streaming platform Spotify.

She revealed that music is something that she would choose over doing a TV series. She explained how much she enjoys the process of creating something creative.
“Honestly, if you were to ask me if I would do teleserye or music, I would pick music. Just because I prefer the creative process even more and also just the work that needs to be put in. Parang mas kaya yung music,” she explained.
Apart from that, Nadine shared that she already misses performing in front of thousands of people.
“I miss performing [and] I miss singing. I miss conceptualizing an album so I really want to so let’s see next year,” she added.

The artist then shared that due to her commitment to other things in her life–– filming a movie and launching several businesses just this year alone–– music wasn’t a priority as of now. Given the chance, Nadine hopes to release an album next year but she doesn’t want to get ahead of herself just yet.
“Medyo kasi I was blindsided with all of the businesses that happened this year. Tapos bigla pang, Uninvited happened so you know, I really had to reroute or switch my focus on other things. I’m really hoping next year that it’s the year for music,” she shared.
“Sana matuloy pero ayoko magsalita ng patapos kasi baka mamaya hindi nanaman mangyari,” she ended.
