Coming from their grand victory, singers Marielle Montellano and JM Dela Cerna took to social media to express their gratitude to everyone who supported them throughout their journey on Your Face Sounds Familiar.
In an Instagram post, Marielle extended her appreciation to the people behind the Kapamilya show.
“From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to everyone who helped bring this season of Your Face Sounds Familiar to a beautiful close. From the production team, creatives, transfomation team and every single person behind the scenes. Thank you for believing in us, for giving us this opportunity that not everyone gets the chance to be part of, and thank you po sa tiwala ninyo sa amin 🙏🏻,” Marielle wrote.
The singer also expressed appreciation to the juries, mentors and fellow contestants adding: “To the jury and our mentors, thank you for your insights, and for recognizing the hard work and passion we poured into all our performances since day one. And to our fellow performers, it was an honor to share the stage with all of you. Mamimiss namin ang all 🥺.”
Marielle went on to dedicate their win to their fans, whom she described as their constant source of strength and inspiration.
“To our fans and supporters, thank you for standing by us, cheering us on every episode (live or online man) and lifting us up every step of the way. This moment is just as much yours as it is ours. Maraming salamat po! 💛,” she said.
Her partner, JM Dela Cerna, echoed the same sentiment expressing gratitude to everyone who believed in and supported their tandem.
“This victory is dedicated to everyone who believed in us, supported us, and loved us, as well as to our co-performers and the whole Your Face Sounds Familiar family. 🤍 Endless gratitude po to the entire @yourfaceph family! 🙏😭,” JM said.
He went on: “My dearest Balladears, Ma’s Mariellesters, and our JMielles, you are one of our greatest sources of strength and one of the reasons we feel more motivated and inspired in everything we do. Salamat kaayo! 🙏🥹.”
JM reserved a special message for Marielle, recognizing their shared journey and perseverance through challenges, saying: “To you, ma @marielle.montellano ,congratulations sa atoa! 🥹 Because despite how difficult and deep the challenges we went through was, we never gave up and kept going. SIDLAK BISDAK!!! 😉💪🏼.”
As he ended his message, JM shared how being part of the show left him with valuable lessons: “This journey taught me so much and made me realize that, the greatest risk is not taking any risk at all. 🫶 DAGHANG SALAMAT, KA-FAMILIARS!!!”
JM and Marielle, collectively called as JMielle, were hailed as the grand winners of Your Face Sounds Familiar Season 4 at the grand showdown last April 12.
The duo clinched the title after earning the highest combined score of 94 percent, capped by their transformation into Jennifer Holliday and Jessica Sanchez, where they showcased their vocal prowess in their performance of “And I’m Telling You”. Along with the title, the pair took home a ₱1 million cash prize.
Before their Your Face Sounds Familiar win, JMielle was previously named as the Grand Champions in the Tawag ng Tanghalan Duets in 2023.
