MANILA — Actress Alexa Ilacad scored her third win in the new season of "Your Face Sounds Familiar" after topping the show’s 12th round with her transformation into comedienne Rufa Mae Quinto, performing the hit novelty song “Booba.”
She impressed judges Sharon Cuneta, Ogie Alcasid, and guest judge Erik Santos, along with her fellow celebrity performers.
Ilacad received a total score of 36 points from jurors and fellow celebrity performers. She was followed by Quinto with 18 points and Jason Dy with 15 points.
"Una sa, lahat, Ate Peachy, thank you so much. Alam mo ikaw ang dahilan kung bakit ako natutong magpuyat noong bata ako kakanood ko ng show mo. Isa ka rin talaga sa icon ng buhay ko," Ilacad told Quinto.
"Prior to this show, wala akong experience sa panggagaya, pero ikaw trip na trip kitang gayahin. 'Yun nga 'yung parang audition ko 'yung 'Booba.' Thank you so much Ate Peachy for making everyone's so happy all the time for the joy, for everything. I love you so much. Para sa iyo ito, itong ginawa ko, i-share this moment with you," she added.
Aside from getting a plaque, Ilacad also took home P50,000.
This marks Ilacad's back-to-back win after she won the 11th round as Mexican star Thalía. She also won the 4th round in the program with her transformation as Britney Spears.
Meanwhile, the show's Sunday episode opened with the special performance of former "Pinoy Big Brothger" housemate Kai Montinola.
Montinola wowed jurors and the celebrity performers with her transformation as Tony award winner Lea Salonga, singing “I'd Give My Life for You.”
"Your Face Sounds Familiar" airs weeknights on Kapamilya Channel, ALLTV2, A2Z, Kapamilya Online Live and iWant.
