Miley Cyrus is set to revisit the world of Hannah Montana.
Disney announced on Wednesday, February 18 (US time) that a Hannah Montana special is set to be released in celebration of the 20th anniversary of the show.
"Going back to where it all began. 🖤 The Hannah Montana 20th Anniversary Special premieres March 24 on Disney+. #MileysMemories," the studio posted on Instagram.
Fans online were quick to express their excitement about the special.
"This might be the best day ever," one fan commented.
"You'll always find your way back home 🥹," another fan said.
As per press release by Disney, the special will be recorded before a live studio audience and will include an exclusive and in-depth interview with Miley, which will be hosted by Alex Cooper. The discussion will provide a personal look at how one of pop culture's most recognizable characters came to life, as well as the enduring influence the series and its lead have had on fans worldwide.
During the special, Miley will "revisit the moments, music and memories that defined an era." Audiences can also expect previously unseen archival footage, along with the return of some of the show's most beloved sets.
Hannah Montana follows the "adventures of a teenage pop star who keeps her identity secret from even her closest friends by using a disguise on-stage" as per its IMDb.
The show aired on Disney Channel from 2006 to 2011.
