MANILA -- The teaser for the new film starring the popular love team of Donny Pangilinan and Belle Mariano is creating buzz online.
The official announcement teaser for Star Cinema's upcoming film "Tayo sa Wakas" with Pangilinan and Mariano has racked up 5.9 million views across social media and YouTube since it was released on Monday.
The figure was shared by ABS-CBN's Star Cinema on Tuesday, February 17.
Directed by Cathy Garcia-Sampana, "Tayo sa Wakas" will hit cinemas on May 27.
It marks the tandem's return to the big screen following a period where both focused on individual growth and solo projects.
They were last seen in the 2022 movie "An Inconvenient Love."
In a previous interview with ABS-CBN News, the two expressed their excitement over their upcoming film.
"We’ve been working together for some time, so I think this specific project is gonna be very special for me, for the both of us, and I just can’t wait to show the people what we have,” Pangilinan said.
“It really feels like a comeback, right? We’re really excited, and the story that was told to us was really unexpected. That’s all I can say,” Mariano added.

Pangilinan and Mariano worked together in shows such as "He's Into Her" and "Can't Buy Me Love."
