ABS-CBN and GMA Network will join forces once again for the multi-genre series "The Secrets of Hotel 88," which features housemates from the two companies' past collaboration, the hit "Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition."
On Thursday, Star Magic unveiled a teaser photo for the project.
"We’re super blessed parang this is a collective win para sa amin, kasi dito pa lang panalong-panalo na po kami, paglabas pa lang po namin ng bahay with all the reviews sa pagtanggap ng tao sa amin, tapos madadagdagan pa po ng isang series," said Esnyr Ranollo.
While details about the project remain under wraps, the former housemates expressed excitement at being reunited.
The housemates shared that the last time they were all together was during their "The Big ColLove" concert in August. Since then, their busy schedules have kept them from having a proper reunion.
Now, the question is how the housemates' fans would respond given that "The Secrets of Hotel 88" is a scripted production, unlike "Pinoy Big Brother."
"Ako I think, they’re gonna love it, kasi they’re gonna see us in a different light. Kasi nasanay na sila kung sino kami sa Bahay ni Kuya, pero ngayon makikita nila yung acting side namin," said Josh Ford.
Big winners Mika Salamanca and Brent Manalo said they share the same excitement for their followers to see this project that will debut next year.
"Sobrang excited po kaming ipakita at papasukin kayo sa 'Hotel 88,'" said Salamanca.
"Ito po 'yung bubungad sa inyo sa 2026, first quarter po. Pinaghandaan namin lahat 'to and I know na lahat naman ng ilalabas namin ay susuportahan ninyo and we’re gonna make sure na this is something that we’ll be proud of. Abangan n'yo po yan mga Kapamilya," added Manalo.
"The Secrets of Hotel 88" will be produced by Star Creatives.
