Kapamilya television personality Bianca Gonzalez is set to bring more inspiring stories to Filipinos around the world as BRGY returns with a brand-new season this September on The Filipino Channel (TFC).
During an intimate media conference, Bianca looked back on how she first said “yes” to hosting the show.
“This is my second season in BRGY,” Bianca said. “When they pitched to me BRGY, they showed me what the set looked like and very parang sala talaga.”

“When they showed that to me and they wanted to feel na extension ito ng sala ng bahay ng mga Filipino wherever they are in the world, so I said yes,” she added.
Hosting a talk show that focuses on heartfelt conversations has long been part of Bianca’s hosting dreams.
“Dream ko for the longest time to host the morning show on ABS-CBN. Isa yan sa mga bucket list ko,” Bianca stated. “It had that vibe na dream ko and to get to do what I have been longing to do.”
“Hindi lang siya yung uupo yung guest tapos intriga ang tatanungin ko. Hindi. It's really their stories as if magkukwentuhan sa sala ng bahay ng kaibigan and getting to connect sa TFC,” she continued.
For Bianca and the production team, BRGY aims to be a “home away from home” for its viewers, especially overseas Filipinos who miss the warmth of family and community.
“It's a place that we call in season 3 na parang your home away from home na kapag pinanood ito ng isang global Pinoy they will feel more at home, and I guess maibsan yung homesickness is one of our goals as well,” she explained.
“In this particular season we are calling it stories closer to home. We are gonna have from celebrities, influencers, global Pinoys or anyone na may iba't ibang mga kwento na makakarelate ang global Pinoy at nabibigyan ng platform to share their stories.”
Derived from the word barangay, BRGY is a talk-magazine program on TFC dedicated to sharing the journeys of Filipinos worldwide. Bianca first joined the show in its third season last year, coinciding with her 20th anniversary in the entertainment industry.
"Earlier this year, the ABS-CBN Global team met with me, pitching for me to host the 3rd season of the daily TFC talk show, BRGY. Of all the forms/kinds/tasks of hosting, I love INTERVIEWING the most, and this show is exactly that,” she posted.

In her first season with BRGY, Bianca has interviewed top personalities including Kathryn Bernardo, Alden Richards, Charo Santos, Dingdong Dantes, Carlo Aquino, Marvin Agustin, Jolina Magdangal, Ely Buendia, Lovi Poe, and Bela Padilla, among others.
The Kapamilya host admitted that while the show is fulfilling, it has also been one of the most challenging projects of her career.
“This show has been so much fun but also one of, if not THE most challenging job in my hosting career so far. Doing this show has showed me that after two decades in the industry, I still have so much to learn and so much to improve on, and now more than ever, dedicated ako to keep doing better!!! 🥹,” she wrote. “Hindi biro yung daily talk show as solo host—uuyyy as in napaka-challenging mag-research at aral about each guest, to studying my script well, to fully listening and staying on my toes for five episodes a week. Mahirap na masaya!!!!”
Season 4 of BRGY premieres this September and will be available on TFC’s cable, satellite, IPTV, and YouTube channel.
