Jackie Chan revealed that he visited the set of the upcoming Spider-Man: Brand New Day film.
The actor's stunt team is currently working with the production team of the Marvel movie.
"I went to London and visited the set. My Jackie Chan Stunt Team was busy filming Spider-Man, and I was the action director for the Jackie Chan Stunt Team," he said in an interview with HK01.
Jackie recounted the reaction of film director Destin Daniel Cretton when he visited the set. "I went to watch their rehearsals, and the director was so excited when he saw me. I made sure he understood that they are part of my team," he shared.
It was in early 2025 when Tom Holland announced that the official title of Spider-Man 4 in a pre-recorded video druing the CinemaCon in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Teasing on what fans can expect from the upcoming installment, Tom relayed during the event: “I know we left you with a massive cliffhanger at the end of No Way Home, so Spider Man: Brand New Day is a fresh start. It is exactly that. That’s all I can say.”
He went on: "That’s all I’ve been allowed to say. And I'm well over the hump of giving away spoilers, so don't be worried. I'm not going to do that today. But thank you for your support. It's always a joy and I will be back next year, hopefully."
In an interview with YouTube series Flip Your Wig back in July, Tom expressed his excitement about filming the new Spider-Man movie.
"I’m obviously over the moon and so excited. Playing Spider-Man is like hanging out with an old pal. And I think we were really restricted with what we could do in the last movie because of COVID. We shot the entire film on stages," he said.
The actor added: "Now, we’re really gonna lean into that old-school filmmaking and shoot in real locations, which is why we’re starting in Glasgow and we’re gonna use the streets of Glasgow to build this massive set-piece that we're putting together. So it's gonna feel like making [2017's] Spider-Man 1 again. It's been such a long time since I've done it, it's gonna feel like a breath of fresh air, and I think the fans are going to be over the moon with what we're putting together."
