MANILA, Philippines – The Filipino Academy of Movie Arts and Sciences (FAMAS) on Sunday, August 10, announced the nominees for its 2025 edition live via Facebook.
Nominees for Best Picture are Star Cinema's "And The Breadwinner Is...," "Alipato at Muog," "Under A Piaya Moon," "Topakk," "Green Bones," "When Magic Hurts," "Balota," "Mamay," "The Hearing," and "Uninvited."
Vice Ganda, Dennis Trillo, Arjo Atayde, Alden Richards, Aga Muhlach and Kelvin Miranda are the nominees for the Best Actor category, while Kathryn Bernardo, Julia Montes, Judy Ann Santos, and Marian Rivera were among the nominees for Best Actress.
Ruru Madrid, Joel Torre, Sid Lucero, Jhong Hilario, Jeric Raval and Will Ashley are vying for Best Supporting Actor trophy, while Nadine Lustre, Isabel Sophie Ng, Eugene Domingo, Alessandra de Rossi, Claudine Barretto and Mylene Dizon are nominated for Best Supporting Actress.
The 73nd FAMAS Awards Night will take place on August 22 at the Fiesta Pavilion of Manila Hotel.
