Kapamilya stars Anji Salvacion and Gelo Rivera are ushering in a new era of digital storytelling as they headline “The Four Bad Boys and Me," the first-ever ABS-CBN Entertainment YouTube Original Movie. Adapted from Tina Lata’s hit Wattpad series of the same name, the film is now streaming for free on ABS-CBN Entertainment’s YouTube channel.
At the red-carpet premiere, the excitement was palpable, especially for lead actress Anji Salvacion, who marks her first major film role through this project.
“To be honest, 'di ko maramdaman ‘yung tuhod ko,” she shared. “Sobrang kabado ako ngayon… it’s my first time watching the whole movie. Gelo already watched it, so I don’t know what to expect. I’m super excited too.”
Rivera, known for his work with the P-pop group BGYO, makes his acting debut in the film -- an experience he described as a newfound passion.
“Love ko ang performing, pero I think I found a new love din, which is acting. Masaya, tsaka kahit pagod ka, fulfilled ka at the end of the day,” he said.
Both Salvacion and Rivera highlighted their deep connection to the project.
“Ang saya kasi, favorite book ko talaga ‘to. I resonate with Candice a lot,” Salvacion said of her character. “All the glory and honor is unto God. Hindi ko in-expect na mabigyan ako ng ganitong break.”
The digital movie also features an exciting ensemble of young Kapamilya stars including Harvey Bautista, River Joseph, Brent Manalo, and Dustin Mayores. Completing the powerhouse cast are Krystal Brimner, AC Bonifacio, Analain Salvador, and Gela Alonte, each adding color and charisma to the beloved story.
Set in a high school filled with heart-fluttering romance, unexpected friendships, and self-discovery, “The Four Bad Boys and Me” promises to be a fresh, relatable coming-of-age story that fans can stream anytime, anywhere. The movie is directed by Benedict Mique.
