Shuvee Etrata was an inch closer to the Big Night, but her Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab Edition stint was cut short with her recent eviction on Saturday, June 14.
Despite her exit from the iconic house, the Kapuso actress is filled with gratitude as she finally turned her PBB dream into a reality.
In an Instagram post on Sunday, June 15, Shuvee looked back on her humble beginnings.
“It all started with a dream. A young probinsyana girl wanting to be a housemate. Decades later, that dream turned into a reality,” she wrote in the caption.
“We made it, TikTok fam,” she added, honoring her supporters on the said social media platform where she was first discovered.
In her post, the PBB evictee honored the important people in her life who paved the way for her dream to be realized.
Shuvee thanked the people who supported "ShuKla" — her tandem with her co-evictee Klarisse de Guzman
She also penned a message for her family, to whom she dedicated her fight inside the Big Brother house.
“To my family, di ako susuko. Patuloy akong lalaban para sa pangarap,” she wrote.
The Kapuso actress said she is “beyond grateful for the experience” as she extended her gratitude to the reality show.
“Thank you PBB for this opportunity,” she said. “Maraming salamat sa pagkakataon na nakasama ko ang mga housemates!”
Shuvee’s PBB eviction made headlines as she was welcomed by internet personality and model Anthony Constantino with flowers and hugs.
Their photos and videos caught the attention of several netizens, with some teasing that the evictee is “still a big winner.” However, the status of the two still remains unclear.
In Shuvee’s post, Anthony was also mentioned along with her other close friends, including her best friend and former housemate Ashley Ortega.
“Thank you, babes @ashleyortega, @roxieebae, @skyechua, @mavylegaspi, and @anthony.constantino for welcoming me back. I’m so grateful for you all,” she wrote.
Shuvee and Klarisse got evicted after getting the lowest vote percentage of 31.50% — a close fight with the "AZVer" tandem of AZ Martinez and River Joseph who received 31.67%.
