Streaming platforms HBO Max and Viu have partnered to offer a subscription bundle across Southeast Asia, giving viewers access to a broader range of content.
The bundle offers subscribers Hollywood content from Warner Bros. Discovery's iconic brands — including HBO, Harry Potter, Game of Thrones and the DC Universe — alongside Viu's Asian content, featuring popular Korean and Chinese dramas and variety shows, according to a press release.
On HBO Max, subscribers can stream the Emmy-winning medical drama "The Pitt" and the post-apocalyptic series "The Last of Us," HBO Originals like "It: Welcome to Derry" and Max Originals such as the superhero series "Peacemaker," and fan favorite shows like "Friends" and "The Big Bang Theory."
HBO Max’s catalog also features the Harry Potter movie collection, along with the latest Hollywood blockbusters, including "One Battle After Another," "The Conjuring: Last Rites," "Weapons" and "Superman."
On Viu, K-drama fans can enjoy series such as "Taxi Driver 3" and "Undercover High School," along with reality shows like "Running Man" and "EXchange 4," among many others.
Viewers can subscribe to the HBO Max & Viu Bundle through direct billing on the HBO Max or Viu website. After setting up separate accounts on HBO Max and Viu, subscribers can access content on each platform individually. Once activated, the bundle provides access to the HBO Max Standard plan and the Viu Premium plan.
