Team Philippines’ Mark “Mugen” Striegl, Lara Liwanag, and Robyn Brown of Netflix’s Physical: Asia delighted fans as they shared fun videos and photos following their reunion with Team Thailand’s James Rusameekae Fagerlund and Sun Kerdkao Wechokittikorn.
On his Instagram page, Filipino-American mixed martial arts champion Mark posted photos with James and Sun taken at Thonglor CrossFit Center in Thailand.
“Three is a party 🇵🇭🇹🇭❤️ #physicalasia,” Mark wrote.
He also shared a TikTok video featuring the three athletes, captioned, “Two kings and a 👸🏻 #physicalasia” to which Sun humorously replied, “I can’t dance, I just survived 😂😂.”
Prior to the post, fans were already elated after Mark and James released their first video together, where they posed to Sabrina Carpenter’s song “Tears.”

The duo’s video marked their first collaboration since James’s viral “Wow!” reaction upon seeing Philippine representative Mark enter the arena during their intense death match challenge on the show.
Meanwhile, fellow Filipina athletes Robyn Brown and Lara Liwanag also shared collaboration videos, joining various social media trends. These included a mash-up of 4 Non Blondes’ 1993 hit “What’s Up?” and Nicki Minaj’s “Beez in the Trap,” as well as playful challenges and a dance to K-pop group TWS’ “OVERDRIVE.”
“What’s up?? 🤣 🇵🇭🫶🏻🇹🇭,” Lara said.
Robyn and Lara also posted clips of their training sessions with James.
Taking a break from their gym reunion, James, Lara, and Robyn went out for a night of celebration, where they watched a drag performance by Thai drag queens.
“All on a Tuesday night?? I lived for all of the performances, and I obviously couldn’t show you the best parts —you’re gonna have to see it for yourself😉 the crowd work they did all on a weekday was impressive. I’m coming back for more 👀 #physicalasia #trending #drag #queens #thai,” Robyn said, sharing videos from their night out.
Mark, Lara, and Robyn were members of Team Philippines on Physical: Asia, alongside boxing legend Manny Pacquiao, strongman Ray Jefferson Querubin, national team rugby player Justin Coveney, and CrossFit athlete Justin Hernandez. They also shared their holiday reunion on their social media accounts.
Meanwhile, James and Sun represented Team Thailand together with Muay Thai champion Superbon Singha Mawynn, national wrestler Anucha Yospanya, Muay Thai coach and bodybuilder Ploy Nuannaree Olsen, and CrossFit athlete Jar Uracha Teerawanitsan.
Although neither team advanced to the final rounds, both captured the hearts of viewers with their impressive performances—both individually and as a team—as well as their fun and sportsmanlike interactions despite the show’s grueling challenges.
