MANILA — Star Cinema's "Meet, Greet & Bye" has earned P33 million in Philippine box office sales in its first three days of showing.
The family drama, directed by Cathy Garcia-Sampana and starring Piolo Pascual, Joshua Garcia, Belle Mariano, Juan Karlos, and Maricel Soriano, began showing in cinemas last Nov. 12.
Aside from local cinema, the movie is also now showing in New Zealand, Australia, Middle East, and has also opened in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, Austria, France, Italy, Greece and Spain.
"Meet, Greet & Bye" follows the story of a K-drama fanatic mother who decided to stop receiving treatment for her cancer after losing hope of getting better. Her children worked together to meet her condition to undergo chemotherapy: to meet her favorite Korean actor Park Seo-joon.
The family movie touched viewers' hearts due to its rollercoaster of emotions.
