Kapamilya actress and singer AC Bonifacio is set to star in the international K-Pop thriller film Perfect Girl.
According to a report by Deadline, AC joins the cast which includes Arden Cho and May Hong from the Netflix hit animated movie KPop Demon Hunters; K-Pop star Nancy from Momoland; and Thai star Ally, among others.
Perfect Girl follows a rising K-Pop supergroup in the final week before their debut, where fierce competition takes a dark turn after a mysterious new trainee joins and the girls begin to vanish one by one.
The movie will be directed by Hong Won-ki.
AC's fans were quick to extend their congratulatory messages to her for this new milestone in her career.
"I AM SO PROUD OF YOUUU!! You deserve this and moreee! 🤍🤍 Praying for the success of the film!!" one fan wrote on social media platform X (formerly Twitter).
"Congrats ng marami [AC]. Looking forward to watching the film soon," another fan wrote.
AC recently became part of Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition.
In a previous interview with ABS-CBN News, the actress-singer highlighted the learnings she gained from being a PBB housemate.
"PBB really humbled me, it taught me na I'm allowed to just sit and listen," she remarked. "Kasi parang na-distract po ako in this world na sobrang busy and sobrang noisy. I felt like I always needed to have something to say, I needed to stand up for myself. I needed to be always just be there."
"Pero na-realize ko po talaga na I can just sit, listen and learn. I need to understand what's going on first before I take action."
In a previous interview with Metro.Style, AC also shared her future plans after PBB.
"I will continue performing... If I'm growing in my personal life, I will also want to grow in my artistic life. So acting, singing, dancing. I will always try to do better in those things. Hosting also," she shared.
AC also recently starred in the movie The Four Bad Boys and Me.
Describing her role in the film AC shared: "Dito sa [The Four Bad Boys and Me], I think I'm my regular self, honestly. I'm very bubbly, very up, very energetic. And I also dance there."
