Prime Video Philippines unveiled Tuesday a teaser for Kim Chiu and Paulo Avelino's upcoming series "The Alibi," which features the actress engage in a daring dance scene.
The teaser opens with Avelino's character seated in what appears to be a bar, saying in a voice-over, "The lie we tell ourselves is the lie that hurts us the most."
It then cuts to Chiu’s character — with the actress donning a shorter, curly hairstyle — performing a sultry pole dance on stage under pouring water, as Avelino’s character looks on intently.
"Lies, temptations, affairs – can one escape them all?" Prime Video wrote in the video's description.
The teaser serves as the latest sneak peek for the Dreamscape Entertainment-produced series, following the release of still photos. A premiere date, however, has yet to be announced.
"The Alibi" is penned by Danica Domingo, and directed by FM Reyes and Jojo Saguin.
It also marks the duo's latest collaboration, following thriller drama "Linlang" and Philippine adaptation of the K-drama "What's Wrong With Secretary Kim?". Earlier this year, the pair also led Star Cinema's "My Love Will Make You Disappear."
